Chris I had the kw v3's on my old 996tt and still have the numbers from alignment/corner balance. It worked great, even tire wear and long tire life. Pm me for details

Installed aluminum pedals and cleaned the engine lid cowl. While trying to remove the harness I pulled out the top spoiler microswitch. It went back but would pop out with usage, so I used a little CA and its not budging. Also called all of the shops that my car had been to, to build up its maintenance history. Most of the dealerships were very helpful. The only items I didn't know about or can't really find any documentation on is the replacement of both shut off valves and a diverted valve. I'm not exactly sure what the shut off valves are. I was glad to hear that the car appeared to be serviced very well, with annual oil changes and attention to even minor things. When I purchased the car. I did so without a maintenance history rather made my decision on a very thorough ppi. Other than the typical clutch slave cylinder / accumulator and clutch the costliest service was the replacement of the airbag control module.

I had a problem with the engine cover latch. When I would activate the release from inside the car, I could hear what sounded to be the lock on the latch unlocking, then locking itself again before I could get to the rear and open engine cover. If someone else activated the latch and I was standing at the rear and lift engine cover, it would open just fine. Corrected the situation by adjusting the threaded rubber lid stops on each side on the inside of the lid; 1/4 turn counter-clockwise and it works just fine.

Did some electronics upgrades. Installed the triple blink turn signal relay (love it but the car should have had this option when new), a new head unit (Alpine CDE-HD149BT) with a microphone on the stock location (mounted outside the cover by drilling out and putting Mic in) and a USB connection in the rear storage compartment. Also mounted an Ecliptech tach on the steering column with 4,000-6,500 range set (a track use item mostly). It required taking off the instrument binnacle, console delete panel and central console.

Not much to take a picture of. But the wiring is very easy. Use an Add-A-Circuit (I used fuse A6 - seat heaters) for the positive, connect the negative to the brown wire on the ODBII and the blue to the Violet and Green on ODBII. The wires are long enough to reach this location. I used some heat shrink on the to make the visible section less obvious.
Edit: Use calibration setting 3
