I did the same years ago with satin black Rustoleum spray paint and it's looks great to this day....just clean/prep it well. Very light sand with 2000 grit sandpaper and shoot.

I like plastidip for this type of part because I find it easier to get a smooth finish.

thanks! pretty happy i went with gold centers.

as for center caps, i'm not sure at this point. i've never ran center caps on all my previous wheels (diff car but still..) so i'm not really partial to them (esp faux center lock caps!)

I do not like faux anything so I'm with you there but a nice center cap would really finish the look.

Center caps would IMO improve the overall look of the nice wheels.

The wheels are a 'real racer' wheel rather than the poser wheels so often seen on our cars. I'd leave the caps off, myself.

Changed out my broken wheel arch liner, pretty straight forward and not too much coin, well at least compared with the GT2 one which was more than double for what is a very similar part.

Looks too clean, I'll have to fix that.


The old one was in pretty bad shape.
