I doubt a restored 89 will bring $65k even if mileage is reasonable. The least they could have done is paint the fan the correct color.
This one has been for sale for quite some time now.

How much do you think a '92 America Roadster is worth? 71k miles, good shape (some paint chips and leather not perfect)?

There is a VERY cheap one listed in the last 15 hours and I think it could be a good deal... it's offered just above $40k CAD which is way below market I think (I remember seeing many eaxmples selling for $60-80k)

I really like my targa and prefer a coupe, but an american roadster is a rare car. it's a canadian version.. only 15 made in 1993 and 23 total production for Canada (has rear seats for Canada and kph speedo/odo, rest is like american car it seems)

$11.5k insurance claim in 2001, asked details. $11.5k is not much damage in Porsche standard but it's not a good start.

Here's the response to my inquiry:

Sorry for the slow response. I was waiting for a response concerning the damage and in the last 30 minutes I had someone buy the vehicle.
Regards,
Evan
So, we'll see this one for sale at a dealer soon (Top Gear??), I will bet on it.

Caught my eye is well.

How bad is the damage to the front fascia? Is that something to fix or leave as is?

Is there an accepted way to view the difference in value between the early cars (90) and the latter years (93 & 94). For a long term buyer, is it better to wait for something from the later years. Have been shopping for 993s for a while, but am slowly coming to the realization i really like the 964s, so do appreciate any thoughts from the experts.

Looks like it hit a parking lot block/curb

Might even be able to be pulled back to how it was
