Amazon sucks, I've read on different boards about people ordering and having their delivery postponed over and over again.
I ordered directly off their website and the book arrived in about 1 week. Got a signed copy too !
I haven't been able to go trough the book yet but I've seen some samples on the web, its worth having just for those never seen before pictures if you ask me.

Over the weekend, I discovered that my brother's new 1983 944 had sport seats. He is just flipping the car, so I convinced him to swap for my script seats, that are in better condition. The 83' also has porsche embossed door cars in perfect condition, so we are going to swap those out as well.
I'm sending the seat material from the sport seats away to an upholstery shop today, so they can make templates and make me some seat covers. I'm going black leather with houndstooth inserts.

Swapped out the water/water wetter for antifreeze and put in a new windshield.
Took a rock at 90 MPH during the first sprint at Sebring Club race.
Hate putting her back to sleep, think we're gonna have to head to NOLA at the end of February for the club race there.

spent 31/2hours with brushes and a putty knife scraping off 8+ years of groad from my transmission...Out of the car, too. Next step..Brake cleaner and ss brushes to get it in better shape, prior to teardown...Thanks, Tiger 03447

got up at 3am on monday, drove from LA to San Diego.
took care of some business.
got up at 3am on tuesday, drove from San Diego to LA.
340 miles round trip of driving at 75-85mph and i pulled 24mpg...
the section of freeway near disneyland is about 10 lanes wide with no one on it for a few miles at that time.
that section probably used a gallon or two on its own

Did a bit more body work/ fender stretching on the drivers side and installed my Dynatech strut brace.
The brace made a big improvement in handling. There is much less understeer.
