Hi guys! I am joining the crew. Woke up today to see 85 days added to my delivery date. My car ended production and was due for delivery on 3/6/24 (Downtown LA Porsche). Now it shows 4/23/24

That is a big gap before it even heads to Emden. Do you have Exclusive Manufaktur parts in your build? That happens after the main production line.

negative! at least I don't think so - https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PRAGZS76

The completion picture they sent me seems to have most of everything included minus the front high gloss lip.

Six weeks seems like a long time for a front lip. Hopefully TYD will update to an earlier date before long.

You do have some "Exclusive Manufaktur" options like the seatbelts in yellow and sport chrono in yellow. I recall CXX options on the 991 required the car to be sent to the Exclusive department with the standard options and were then replaced with the Exclusive options after coming off the final assembly line (i.e. standard sports chrono replaced with the colored sport chrono after the fact).

This video shows that it's not just for CXX, but for some of the Exclusive Manufacture items as well. Great videos to watch to see what the building looks like.

I wonder how many cars they can actually do in the Exclusive Manufacture building...

NB is now anchored outside Panama canal. I am guessing this is a refueling stop.

Y’all are making me jealous. Your cars are a week or so away while I’m still waiting on confirmation whether a RoRo will dock in Benicia in March. Viking Emerald still shows tentative per Glovis.

Wishing you a speedy disembarkation! @kurquhart amazing shots of the ship going through the canal!
