Can you please help me understand the above, my car is currently in Emden and the destination is the West Coast (San Diago). Does that mean my only onboarding option is next month?
Currently, yes, but these schedules change fairly often. Also, if your car is not a 718, it will be held at port (or not even ship) until April while a chip is replaced (scroll up for more details).

Its a chip on the ECU from Belarus which has an embargo in place as of December 3, 2023 which is why all new cars landing from Glovis Comet, Neptune Barcelona, etc all impacted while previous cars were not. The 718 and Cayenne does not the respective chip.
The replacement chip is ordered and enroute to the port. All impacted cars will have their ECU removed and new chip installed. This is a massive undertaking and dealers have been notified to try and stock up on inventory via trade and pre owned certification.
Any insight on whether cars manufactured after 3 Dec had "the proper" chip? My vehicle started mfg on 19 Dec, completed mfg on 10 Jan, and has been sitting at the port since 15 Jan. Like many others here in this forum, there is no expected date for departure from the port. Mid-March was the planned arrival in the SF Bay Area. Any guidance on how much of a delay we should expect - e.g. 2 - 3 months or 4 - 6? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

It's safe to assume that your vehicle has the old chip. Porsche is quoting mid-April but I believe that is for those vehicles held up at the port in the states.

What is interesting is my 911 is sitting just outside of their Custom Tailoring (Exclusive Manufacture) facility waiting for this same chip. My date is shown as 2/19... I suspect that will change and move to April like everyone else, but curious if cars at the factory will get more attention than all of the cars in transit or sitting at the port?

Thinking about the supply chain channels, if the replacement supplier is European, it would make sense for those cars still in Germany to get attended to first with those vehicles already at the port in the states being tended to later.
Neptune Barcelona is now moored in San Diego. I attempted to photograph its entry into San Diego Bay, but it was after dark, so pardon the blur. I then tried to get close to the docks, but the view was blocked by warehouses.
@kurquhart I forgot if you mentioned it earlier but was your dealership delivery moved out to April now due to the chips issue? Or does it still show Feb - Mar?

TYD says 'Not Available'. My SA told me 4/12 'earliest'.
Nice! Love the pictures. My T will get to Benicia soon I guess but will be sitting freezing out there and exposed to all those wonderful industrial and refined product chemicals for a while!
While I can't answer your first question, I'm in the same situation as you. My C4S build was complete on 01/17, arrived in Emden on 01/19, was scheduled to depart on 01/31 and due to arrive in Benicia on 03/03. However, it's been sitting in Emden since 01/19 and TYD shows "Milestone in Sight" and "Not Available" dates now. It's hard to judge whether this delay is due to simply lack of ships scheduled to go to the west coast during Mar - Apr, it's due to the chip issue, or some combination thereof (i.e., once Porsche recognized the chip issue, they intentionally throttled back the number of ships leaving Emden to avoid a huge backlog at US ports). All rumors, guesses and fever dreams at this point.
For your second question: I asked my sales rep last week for the latest dates out of their internal tracking system. I've listed them below in case it helps; The new dates roughly lines up with the latest Glovis west coast shipping dates. Bottom line, it's roughly a 1.5 month delay for me assuming the new dates hold.
Vehicle has left German port: 01/31 (original) vs. 03/16 (now expected)
Vehicle at local entry (Benicia): 03/03 vs. 04/19
Dealer delivery: 03/13 vs. 04/26
