Can't wait...! I was hoping they would leave earlier but good that the Jiuyang crew hopefully got shore leave and was able to get some R&R the last two days in SD.

P.S. It appears Glovis Courage has also left the parking lot and is heading into Emden port.

Congrats! Good news that you don't need to wait for the other PNW owners who are coming in on Jiuyang. There was an earlier Seattle-based owner (AVUS) who had a car come in on an earlier ship and it took two days to truck their car from Benicia to Seattle.

The wild card it seems is how long the car sits in Benicia. Hopefully, they have trucks ready and waiting in Benicia on the 24th. I believe there's at least three of us from PNW on Jiuyang.

As Glovis Courage pulls into Emden, my TYD updated with another delay. Now showing departing 5/6. Did anyone else get their dates pushed out again?? SA still shows 4/19 date of departure which would align with Glovis Courage.

I'm showing the same 5/6 departure now. Up until this point TYD was showing a March departure date that came and went without getting loaded.

I'm still holding out hope for getting loaded on Glovis Courage or Wild Rose Leader. I haven't seen any ship schedules yet that would align with a 5/6 Emden departure.

Hello,

Yes. Just got an update that my car was moved from a 4/15 loading date to 5/6 and won't arrive Seattle until 6/16.

Fingers crossed they are just managing expectations.

Did anyone else only get two photos of the car in production? Was wondering if maybe the other photos will come after the car is loaded.

I too (just) got the update from 4/12 load date to 5/6, arriving San Diego on 6/5.

This would seem to align with Dong-A-Métis.

I will reach out to my S.A. for any other updates.

What the fudge? Why would Porsche would push the departure date to early May again if Glovis Courage is docked in Emden now - especially for those owners who have been held captive in Emden since January?? Absolutely makes no sense why they don't put you as priority on Courage.

I looked up NYK shipping schedule ( https://www.nykroro.com/customer/schedules/ ) and I noticed they moved Asteria Leader's schedule - as @BaxterB 's chart shows. It's now leaving Emden around May 4 and will arrive in San Diego around May 26; Last week, it was supposed to depart April 30 and arrive in SD on May 29. The other ships' (Dione Leader, Cronus Leader and Wild Rose Leader) schedules have remained more or less the same from last week. Glovis Stena did not publish its Week 17 schedule today so it should come tomorrow or Wednesday.

My dates were also pushed to 5/6 departure. This is getting ridiculous.

I got 3 photos...some people get 4. It's really hit or miss.

For those waiting in Emden: Stena Glovis published its Week 17 schedule today - see below. Unfortunately, no changes since last week: no new ships were added to schedule beyond Dong-A Métis. I’m not sure what’s going on. In case you’re interested, I’ve also attached the east coast schedule below as well. Same thing there: not a lot of ships are scheduled and it hasn’t been updated since Week 15.

Jiuyang is approaching Ventura / Oxnard this morning. Due to coastal marine life protection, it’s going at a more leisurely 6 - 7 knots versus 16 - 17 knots out in the Atlantic. Benicia ETA is still ~tomorrow 04/24 7:30pm. Glovis Courage is still docked at Emden while Dong-A Métis just arrived in the UK.

Good luck to all!

I see Asteria Leader has been removed as a San Diego drop off… Now Long Beach.

I wish I knew what the (expletive) is going on. My car was built on 3/26 and in Emden 3/28… TYD now says 5/6 pickup and 6/5 drop off in San Diego but I don’t believe it anymore.

As frustrated as I am, I know others have waited so much longer. If you’re monitoring this site Porsche… this situation sucks!!

Yes, it looks like NYK revised their shipping schedule between yesterday afternoon ( when I posted ) and now. Asteria Leader is not stopping by Emden anymore - just Bremerhaven. BMW must have chartered it altogether based on the Bremerhaven and Long Beach / Port Hueneme stops. It's interesting that these shipping schedules (both PWL and NYK) are very dynamic right now.

IF there is a silver lining to all of this, the fact that a group of you all received the same revised 05/06 Emden departure dates is a fairly good sign that you're all likely on the Dong-A Metis. Fingers crossed and hang in there.
