Great minds think alike. I was just about to ask the same thing for owners on Jiuyang. Fair to say no one has received a Milestone 9 e-mail notification yet? I haven't....

I could remember this wrong, but when I received my last Porsche late last Summer, I thought TYD tracking was way off once it arrived into port. Dealer tracking was what I relied on... they knew the exact stage it was at. In fact, I swear my car showed on TYD it was still at port even after I took delivery.

Nothing for me either... My SA is out on PTO today unfortunately so I can't get an update from him. I was thinking of driving up the hill behind the VW/Porsche lot to see if I can see anything after work. I highly doubt it, but my RSN one may stick out in the crowd of normal colors 911s

Usually takes about a week to move the car to dealer once it arrives at local port.

nope - crickets..
I'v been watching JIUYANG Blossom at the Benicia Port for movement, I think once she is gone all of the cars will be unloaded and we should all start receiving emails.

I would have loved to drive up and watch and video the loading, unfortunately the timing was not right. I have a drone and thought it would be cool to capture the migration of our cars from the ship to the Porsche receiving area on the hill. I even found a Public area owned by the City of Benicia that would be a good vantage point. The drone would be directly overhead of me and have a fantastic view of the whole process.
Best laid plans...oh well.

I was thinking of just going there tomorrow morning (maybe to the same vantage point you mentioned) and just checking out the lot. More curious than anything...

@zanary @Earle That'll be cool if you can get a drone over the lot without getting into trouble.

I'm starting to run out of new 911 videos to watch on YouTube after 4+ months of waiting.... It would be awesome to get a "At Local Entry Port" milestone 9 e-mail on a Friday - a nice way to start the weekend.

While we wait for the Blossom to unload, how many of you have stockpiled parts in the garage ahead of the car?
  • Wheels
  • Tires
  • Suspension
  • Exhaust
  • Clear side markers
  • Magnetic paddles for steering wheel
  • Radiator grills
  • Seat cover for booster seat
  • Floor mats
  • Carbon mirror caps
  • Techart body kit - should be delivered soon..

My SA just dropped a text stating my car has yet to clear customs. I bet we will get the email Monday.

Yes on the clear side markers and all-weather floor mats. I also purchased the frunk liner, Porsche first aid emergency kit that attaches to footwell ( it was only $19 ), and doggie seat belt buckle.

( Also gave heads-up to my insurance agent on rough timing of delivery and get a latest quote... )
