Total of 13,778 miles - mixture of street and DE track days where this car truly shines.
No expense has been spared adding upgrades that enhance safety, performance and the ‘enjoyment factor’ of owning and driving a GT3.
All recommended servicing has been completed. In addition frequent oil, differential and brake fluid changes over and above Porsche schedules to ensure the car is maintained to the highest level.
Porsche recommended hub and wheel bearing replacements inline with new maintenance schedules (front and rear bearings and hubs, center lock bolts etc) was carried out front and rear in February 2013. I have driven ~2,000 miles since the work was completed, which includes 4 track days.
The car is like new and has new rotors, pads and tires (new 991 GT3 came early).
Paint & Windscreen Protection
Clear bra is installed and in good condition covering the entire front, and 1/3rd of the roof plus rocker arms and wheel arches.
I added a black vinyl wrap on the hood, roof and rear spoiler. It can easily be removed prior or post sale as required (peels off). Paintwork underneath is immaculate. On the hood the wrap is covered by the clear bar for further bodywork protection. Clear bra was applied from new, the car was not driven until it had been installed at the dealership. I also added black vinyl rear spoiler end cap decals (the 3.8 logos) for enhanced definition (from http://kistudios.com/gt3.html)
Windscreen has a clear shield from new, no cracks, chips or pitting of any sort present. Clear shield can easily be removed (peels off).
Suspension Upgrades - RSS Stage II Tarmac Series Suspension http://rss.rpmware.com/ :-
- RSS Front Toe/Bump Steer Kit
- RSS Front Lower Control Arms
- RSS Adjustable Rear Links
- RSS Rear Toe/Bump Steer & Locking Plate Kit
- RSS Rear Lower Control Arms
Suspension is professionally setup at -2.5 front, -2.1 rear (infinitely adjustable thanks to the RSS components). Proven to be a great setup for street driving and track, with very even tire wear.
Guards Transmission Limited Slip Differential
OEM Porsche unit restacked by Matt Manson, a dramatic improvement as a result. All GT3 original units are ineffective if used for just a few days on track. This is an essential upgrade for any GT3. (http://www.guardtransmissionllc.com/)
Brake Upgrades
- Brand new Performance Friction Slotted Race Rotors/Hat assembly front (http://www.ogracing.com/performance-...3-slotted-race )
- Brand new Performance Friction PF08 Pads front ( http://www.ogracing.com/performance-...ad-08-compound )
- New Performance Friction Dimpled Rear Rotors/Hat assembly rear (~350 miles on them) (http://www.ogracing.com/performance-...sche-997-2-gt3)
- New Performance Friction PF08 Pads rear (~350 miles on them) (http://www.ogracing.com/performance-...ad-08-compound)
- Motul600 brake fluid
Safety Upgrades
- GMG RSR Roll Bar in black (http://www.gmgracing.com/store/index...-roll-bar.html )
- Schroth Racing Profi II-6 point harness set. Drivers side has Profi II-6 HANS shoulder straps for easier fitting with a HANS device. Passenger side has regular Profi II shoulder straps. (https://www.schrothracing.com/compet...profi/profi-ii )
- Porsche OEM fire extinguisher on drivers seat.
Misc Upgrades
- Porsche 997.2 GT3RS Steering Wheel (Alcantara with Yellow center stripe)
- O.Z. Ultraleggera HLT Center Lock Wheels in Black, unmarked. (http://www.ozracing.com/car_wheels_v...0CL/25490.aspx )
(Note I have the original OEM silver porsche wheels and can substitute if required) - Shark Werks Muffler Bypass Systems (http://www.sharkwerks.com/products.php?pid=153 ). Dramatically improved sound, linked to the factory sport button and no drone or resonance. Docile for day to day driving, outstanding when you want to make progress. Includes original Porsche center box exhaust.
- Rennline aluminum track mats driver & passenger sides (http://www.rennline.com/Track-Mat-Dr...ductinfo/TM09/ ). Also included are the OEM Porsche floor mats which have never been used in the car as the track mats were installed from day one.
- Clear European style front repeaters (replace the ugly orange repeaters the USA receives). The originals are included in the sale.
- Alcantara seat side bolster covers and head rest cover. You can see them installed in my photos of the seats. Seats are immaculate underneath, the bolsters provide some added protection for the leather when getting in and out of the sport bucket seats as does the headrest cover.
- OEM Porsche techquipment 997.2 GT3 car cover included.
- Tires are New Pirelli Trofeo R’s front and rear. Less than 200 miles on them, they are heat cycled and as new. These are street legal DOT approved and much better than the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup OEM tires which I ran for 2 years. http://www.pirelli.com/tyre/ww/en/ca..._trofeo_r.html
I was going to trade the car against my new 991 GT3 which arrived early so have the DME vehicle information report which shows overrevs. Dealer needed it to validate was ok for Porsche CPO/warranty purposes (it was fine). Screen shot included in photos link at end of this note for reference. Plenty of info on Rennlist on how to read the report. Ignitions in Range 1 : 131 @ 283.6 hours, Ignitions in Range 2 : 2 @ 282.2 hours, Ignitions in Range 3,4,5 & 6 all zero. Total operating hours on the engine 293.6.
I have all of the original paperwork, window sticker, manuals and keys etc. Also have paperwork on all maintenance carried out.
I’m sure I’ve probably missed a few things that are also included!
The car is in the Raleigh/Durham area in North Carolina and available immediately, I have the title in hand.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Richard.

One of the very best I've ever seen in all categories. Well preserved and tastefully done. I wished everyone took this kind of care of their GT cars. GLWS.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments and feedback here and via email/PM. Appreciate the interest in the car.
I made a mistake with the factory warranty - it runs through Feb 2014 and not Feb 2015 (typo on my part, apologies for the error).
