Has anyone retrofitted a GT3 master cylinder to a Cayman R?

Re: Tubi - This is the exhaust I should have gotten. Louder and meaner than the remus, and surprisingly still NO drone at cruising speeds. I could probably tolerate an even louder exhaust, but I think the Tubi is great. Is it loud enough for me to sell my remus and get the Tubi? Probably. I'll wait until later in year to consider it.

Re: GT3 master cylinder - Your pedal feels the exact same as mine. Shorter travel, but still a little soft. No rock hard end point. Not perfect, but much better than the stock pedal.

Re: lightweight flywheel. Noticeable difference in rev speed. Nice addition to the car.

Re: PS2 tires - PMing you

I like the alcantara on the door trim! Another option I was not aware of...
Thanks, Joe!

Can't tell you how much better you've made me feel about the exhaust. It's really hard not knowing. I was worried that I'd start driving her home and have to turn around and ask Alex to swap it back. Between your's and Alex's opinion, I feel pretty good about it.

Eduardo has the alcantara door panel option on his Spyder's red interior (besides matching the seat inserts) and I think it is the perfect break in the vast 'Sea of Redness'.

PM'ing back!

Thanks, Jimmy, but credit goes to Alex and the guys at Sharkwerks for working through several weird issues for me, too.

Steve, congratulations on all of your modifications! Looks and sounds great!

Yes, the Alcantara door panel option does break up nicely what is otherwise an overwhelming 'Sea of Redness' when you have the premium 'Carrera Red' full leather interior!

Saludos,
Eduardo

Thanks, Eduardo. I'll let you know when I'm heading up there, most likely a Friday (some week after Good Friday), if that works for you.

Your car is gorgeous, though I would never have had the nerve to be that bold.

My flight is scheduled for the morning of April 13th. I should be at Sharkwerks from mid-morning on - probably too early in the day for a reveal 'party'.

I've also confirmed with Sharkwerks that there may be more people coming than they expected.

I look forward to meeting those of you able to make it... sorry about it being on a work day.

How long do you think you'll be around there? I might be able to stop by around noonish. Ian, interested in heading down with me that day? We could all get some lunch?

My only goal is to get back to LA by 'bed time' - I'd rather not have to get a hotel.

Leaving after lunch should be fine. I'll understand if life intrudes, too.

Looks like a wet trip there and back. Definitely not the best way to break in those R-compounds... and I'm probably not going to be taking the 5, either. Oh, well.

I look forward to meeting those of you willing to brave the weather.

I'm guessing that Eduardo and I will arrive sometime between 9:00 and 9:45.

I expect to be there until lunchtime, or until they kick me out.
