I've done some research on this one. The owner of the car is not actually the dealer, it is titled to the owner of that used car dealership. So essentially it would be a private party transaction. I'm surprised this car has been on the market since May, there may be something up with it.

@orthojoe: I don't disagree. I just don't want to be taken to the cleaners on a car that doesn't have the exact options I want.

I'm starting to consider pre-owned cars as almost all the new cars are PDK, save for the one I drove and none have sport buckets which would be nice.
Yes brand new car...still had the shipping 'tape' on it.

I know I said it has to be new, but I am now open to the right pre-owned car. Damn shame so many dealers ordered with "sports seats"!

At this point, pre-owned spyders are all going to be low miles cars, so I don't think there's much to lose going pre-owned if it's optioned right.

Yup. Ended up pulling the trigger on the Black/Red Spyder in Colorado. It was CPO, which is a big plus for us. Even with this crappy weather, I can't wait!!!!

Medici78: This one?
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...e&rdpage=thumb

That is great. The Sales Manager (Joe Brenner) of this dealership is a friend of mine. They are a first class organization and it's run by a bunch of enthusiastic Porsche guys.

I am a bit biased, but I love the 'Carrera Red' full leather interior in your car. And the 'Black' exterior provides a very nice contrast to all the 'red' in the interior. I think you will love the sport buckets - good choice! Best of luck with it down in El Paso.

Let us know how you think it compares to your old .1 gt3 RS. We have several .1 & .2 gt3 RS owners in Rennlist that also own a Spyder. All love it and think it offers a good part of the gt3 'experience' at a fraction of the original cost.

Saludos, Eduardo (Carmel)

Congratulations, I would not have one without sport buckets. I have them in my Aqua Blue Spyder, my Cayman and the Recaro pool position ( same seat without airbags) in my 911 SC. Enjoy your new ride and welcome to the exclusive club of Spyder owners.

Just to add to this thread, I have been offered 50k by a few dealers, and 55k by one dealer to trade my car in. As many of you know, this is white with sand beige full leather, PDK, sport seats, Sports Design wheel with paddles, sport chrono plus. It has just over 25k miles on it.

I absolutely love the Spyder, but I do miss have the manual transmission. The PDK is amazing, but I like the natural interaction with the car.
