Hi Mark, thanks for the seal shaft info. To remove the fork and the shaft what is the process to remove the pin. I have searched the forums but unable to find exact process. If I need to remove the shaft to replace the seal what else should I replace if anything is needed? Thanks again.

I ordered a new clutch fork but they only have it direct from Germany at a higher cost.
I have a few pictures of the fork I removed, it looks very solid.
What do you think? reuse it?

see those wear marks in pic #2

it is dead and deserves to be repurposed at a re-smelting facility

unless... you want to do another engine drop soon

somebody in the US has those things in stock...

I reused mine af 250k and it is still fine 15k later. Stress is had to see though so you have to decide for yourself. No one can tell you to use it or not to. They don't know ****.
It's a decision for you.

That was exactly my thoughts Randy. There are those who spout all kinds of crap. I remember people saying you have to replace your clutch whenever you drop your engine. When I did mine I was at about 1/3 wear. So I put it back with the same clutch knowing if it goes it was easy enough to drop the engine. I will say grease everything well with the correct grease before putting it back together though. I think Ivan called it Sachs grease or something. You may get some in your kit.

Hi Ivan, quick question. I have the throwout bearing installed on the pressure plate. Is it normal that I can push in and there is some give due to the sunshine spacer giving in? Do I have it installed properly? I can only find a diagram online. I have the concave side of the sunshine spacer facing the fork channel on the TO bearing. If I turned the sunshine spacer the other way I don't think it would work properly. Please let me know.
Thanks

Hi Boys
just got my lap top back to live ...the order is, TO bearing then tiny spacer then sunshine bend facing up next pres.plate ,ring with cut out and then circlip. Best to install is step on the plate with both feet and insert the clip by hands...

Thanks Ivan,
'Hey guys,
Taking care of some maintenance items and the main hose(heater hose I guess) from the right underside of the engine to the upper left using a reducer is crumbling so I will need to replace it. I have searched but unsure what hoses these are on pelican or autohaus. Can anyone provide a link or part number? Thanks. I would like to try to match the replaced hose on the left in the photos if possible. Thanks

Looks like the metal is still good and just an appearance item.

IIRC< many have sourced aircraft hoses via Aircraft Spruce, ec.

This is a good time to clean up the motor, check external seals and use a non-silicone rubber tmt. on the rubber parts.

Do you have a blowoff valve on the airbox?
