My local shop has a 991 turbo build going on. They are looking for 1100 to 1200 whp to compete with Gt-R's in a more up-market car. guess some of the OLA folks have tried full-on turbo builds too with some success. I can certainly be done...

Has anyone had their status change from V070 with their dealer (other than Salomondrin, of course)?

More so than a 911R I'd have to say- even if in concept I like the R better, the 2RS is clearly the ultimate tool for a number of jobs.

Of course it's CGT money from just a couple years ago (oh how painful to have missed that boat), and if you could do that instead...
Oh I'm sure it can be done, I should have clarified.. just don't think anyone WILL modify it.

BUT, now is the chance for you Americans to finally have a say.

DoT needs to repeal quite a few laws in order to pass the truck speed limiter law, they need to review existing ones and repeals the outdated and pointless laws first.

Write to your Congressman and suggest repeal the relevant laws concerning the roll cage's safety.
Agreed.

I also think Porsche is sick of people suing them everytime somebody crashes a car just as the Paul Walker estate tried to do.

Probably swap out the PDK for a MT.

Ordered a Performante. 640 NA engine. I heard the engine at my dealer. Sounded amazing. I bet it's still quicker than the GT2 RS at the ring. Let's see a ring time soon on the GT2.

It would be pretty amazing if the GT2 was able to do a sub 6:52 'Ring time.

Do you think it could do it? The competition is fierce this generation. It's not like the 996 or even the 997 GT2 era. If it could beat the Performante the GT2 RS is the true king again.

Apparently the gt2 RS is more Webber than Verstappen according to Walliser...

Just in case... you still needed to work out if the gt2 was for you.

If the top speed on the Ring, that Mark Webber mentioned, is right then we have something to look forward to.

not sure if porsche will official beat 6:52 from the Performante.

but lets look forward to "real environment".
i guess the GT2RS will be faster than Performante and 720s. on each track / at each comparison.
