My GT2 RS has been entered into the Porsche system and is now in "order demand" waiting for the coveted allocation. Anyone have a guess on the time frame that allocations will come out for the GT2 RS? Although Andreas speaking at Goodwood stated (as has been said many times here) that this is not a limited production car, the dealerships I spoke to seem to have a very low confidence level they will receive any of these.
Thanks!
Thanks!

And with Acid Green deviated stitching. Which I'm thrilled they're offering as a normal option!

I dig it. Though, I don't believe it's approved for PTS. ![Frown](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
For context, it took me and Brett well over a year to get Chartreuse approved for the 991 generation, and that's a heritage Porsche color.

I'm in for PTS because the PTS color I submitted for approval for the 991 generation (226 / Chartreuse) was done specifically with the 991 GT2 RS in my mind. This was approved as a PTS color back in 2015. The wait has been long, indeed!

cebe,
many i guess 20+ Austrian and German Porsche Centers got also 15-30 GT3RS allocations. a couple for sure also 30+
and as you can guess it will also be the same with GT2RS - but maybe half the numbers or a bit less.
now comes the hardest: "stay on it than you will get one - in a regular way - but you will have to wait for sure till next summer to be able to drive it"
good luck with your search!

Thank you Jo_ker, I have heard from my local PC in Switzerand that they expect a first round of allocations of about 1/3 of the total number of GT3 RS they sold ... this adds up to about 10 GT2 RS.
Later on, when production will be rolling, they expect a second batch of allocation, probably smaller than the first one: similar to what happened with the GT3 RS.
Another bit of news is that some customers are backing-off from their pre orders when they are told that the 6 months "holding period" is un-avoidable with the mandatory lease contract ... guess they were not that interested in keeping and driving the car, after all ...
Last info that I got is that, apparently, production will start sometime in november with the NON-Weissach cars.
I am really looking forward to get this car to complement my 993 GT ...
The first 911 GT and ... maybe ... the last one (with the same concept):
