Yeh, "divorce!" it can play a big role in your Porsche life.
Bought my very first Porsche 3 weeks after separating from 1st wife.
2nd wife insisted on 1 of her own so I bought 6 and told her they were all for her. When that crashed she chose the 65 SC sunroof coupe and drove off. Whew! That was easy.
3rd wanted a 914-6 but I took her to Ford and allowed her to pick any brand new Escort. She leaped and once again I escaped a much worse fate.
Ain't bin a fourth.
Present GF belonged to PCA when I met her and understands the whole conflict, is 20 years younger than my last and possesses a few other advantages.
She read this and wants to know what the advantages are. Leaving now to explain further.
Back in awhile.
Cosmetic resto continues. Konis, M030 bars, painted calipers, full respray and interior restored. Mounted freshly powder coated wheels with new Vredestiens to take it in for new top.
Looking good Chuck. Those wheels really work with the Amethyst. How bad a task do you have in front of you with the interior? Magenta pieces are not easy to find.

Thanks Jeff. Interior pieces are ready to be reinstalled after new top. I re dyed all the leather and refinished all the hard plastic parts with Color Plus products. Turned out amazing....
Looks fantastic. How did you apply the color plus material? Spray?
Any cracks in your dash pad?
What color carpets will you go with? The "correct but impossible to keep clean" light grey or the deviated magenta?
Thanks Jeff. Used a brush and small foam paint roller to apply Color Plus. On the hard plastic parts I also used their clear coat as a UV protection so they don't turn black like the originals did.
There are/were no dash cracks or warping around the vents. I had the windshield tinted mostly for UV protection for the dash. Will make sure it stays that way....
The carpets are magenta and are in remarkably great condition. I cleaned every piece of carpet with Vanish Oxy. . Great stuff, used with a rotary buffer with a carpet brush attachment. There is some minor fading only noticeable bc the center console is not installed yet. I'm debating about using a carpet dye (bought some magenta but, looks pink so I'd have to try and mix a match). The other option is to buy new from Porsche as there are a few pieces still available. I did buy a roll of magenta carpet and it's a perfect match. Have to have the piece that goes under the rear storage area custom made as it came apart when I removed the formed fiberglass piece underneath so I could add Dynamat.
So those are the same as the shocks put on original m030 cars?
Why did you go with stock springs?
I'm going to redo my entire suspension soon so doing research.

Yes. There are two shock options in PET, stock or M030. I used the stock springs b/c I didn't want to stiffin it up too much. Didn't use rear springs b/c I was told rear end would be raised like a 4-wheeler (and too stiff). I set both front and rear adjustment settings to the softest setting. Right now, the fronts are at their lowest point and I'm sure I'll have to raise it up b/f I get an alignment done.
