There but before the grace of the special mechanic, goes Rennlist

Except that you *do* give a damn. People that don't give a damn don't find themselves on html editor at 1am, scrambling to take down an FAQ web page that potentially could have been used by a meany to say un-nice things about you.

WOW!

Car forum here! I'm sure the American Psychological Association has a blog/forum.

NO-ONE IS PERFECT!

"*not a shrink, just a stubborn basterd"

A stubborn bastard who can't spell, yet feels compelled to psychoanalyze people on a forum...Do us all a favor and keep the analysis to 996's please? We can make our own judgments on why Jake (or anyone else for that matter) acts the way he does. This is supposed to a be a technical forum

Wow, I did not intend my offhand comment to set off a flame war. Nor was I trying to implicate I believe Jake is a fear mongerer. By "things like this" I didn't even mean only Jake's specific posts, I meant in general - there are plenty of other things written about these cars that might steer a less adventurous person away from them.

The page has been re-published.

For most people creating the content would be the challenge. For me, creating it isn't a problem at all. Sharing it is the problem. That is my problem- not that of the forum.

Congrats and thank you for stepping up Jake! It sounds like it was somewhat of a "hurdle" for you. It's much appreciated

BTW- I come from a long line of fear mongers.. I found this advertisement when researching my Grandfather who owned an electrical and machine shop in the early 1900s. "Don't let that boat lay down on you in the gulf". Good thing the Internet wasn't around then!

Here's some favorites too from 1913.

So much information here. So...Raby was the inspiration for Jesse in F&F? Now it all makes sense.

I have t-shirts I have personally designed that read...

"Every day I become more and more embarrassed to be part of the human race."

Glad to send you some for you and the boys...if this fits your outlook on life....

^^A trending line of thought among those wholly ignorant of history.
