So what did you do to your 928 Today......

Argh!@!@!@!@@!@!
Yelled at it, swore at it it, called it's mother a bunch of bad names, told it that it looked like a Volkswagen, ridiculed it for having a front engine.
Why do the smallest, most inane tasks derail a project for weeks (probably because it's a 35+ year old car, but nevertheless....)
Still can't get the damn coupling undone at the rear of the fuel hard line. Multiple days of PB Blaster, multiple applications/days of CRC Freeze Off which were preceded by a bit of heat from a heat gun (fuel system has been dry for over 8 months now). Have it now soaking in a 50/50 ATF-Acetone mix while I head out of town tomorrow (hoping the acetone doesn't evaporate while it's in the mix). It'll be submersed for 5+ days, and if it doesn't come off then, I'm not sure what my next step is.

Three Wheelin'
Re-installed smog pump so I could get it smogged and fought the h**ckin pivot bolt for a good 90 minutes before finally conquering it. Anyway, good final result as I was able to pass smog with ease.

Three Wheelin'
Today I finally got my windshield washers working (though still don't have intensive washer or headlight washers operating properly yet) and did an oil change and will be sending a sample to Blackstone for post head work analysis. Great news is that the car used maybe half a quart in 8k miles after going through a quart every 1k due to the badly worn valve guides and stem seals.

Drifting
Took my wife for a ride in it for Mother's Day. Drove last year's Frenzy Fun Run and stopped at our favorite local brewery - Dirt Farm Brewery, Bluemont, VA. http://dirtfarmbrewing.com Beautiful day and the car ran great.

Colin Jensen (aka, Lizard928) was in town last week, so I took the opportunity to have him install new PEMs in the LH and EZK and then he spent the next two hours riding shotgun and fine tuning the computers with the Sharktuner...she is PEPPY Now!!

"Fixing" the car with help from my juniors. Found the crazy push button start. Replaced the distributor cap and rotor and the car runs much smoother.
Beautiful day in Philly before the heat.

Not so much what I did with my 928 today (other than yell at it more), but more what did I get from the 928 community today.
Got back from a 5+ day trip to Charlotte, and I found a very generous gift from Crumpler, AKA Dave, awaiting me via USPS upon my arrival.
I shall be donning it shortly as I go to mow the lawn in my underwear. I figure that's a pretty good representation of the best-of-St.-Louis.
Thanks, Dave

Changed the transaxle oil. Put some 75/90 Royal Purple.
Had to drop the right muffler section from the cat to the RMB to reach the fill plug. Both fill and drain plugs are 10 mm.
Ready to hit the road.

Jeff and Victor are here in Vegas, and we, mostly them installed the supercharger on my car.
Jeff took some pictures, so I'm sure he'll post them.
Tomorrow we'll find the errant coolant leak, and Sharktune the car. It sounds awesome!!!!

New rear tires, 245/45-16 Bridgestone RE11s, scored last year. But I just checked: Tire Rack now has several road-going tires in this size. They were very scarce when I needed them three years ago, and I ended up buying a used set.

Small thing.
My VDO coolant pressure sensor began leaking from the seam in it's housing. Small little drips, but still had to go. For now I put in a hose connector. Coolant system behaving normally otherwise.
