Just to add a counter view - I've always just let my dealer handle it. They keep me updated on the conversations and work their contacts better than what I think I could.

Only direct contact I've had with Porsche Exclusive is a thank you letter and Porsche Exclusive Calendar they sent me.

In a very round about way.. CXX can lead to a better PTS chance almost.. or at least some clarity.

best of luck... and may your MSRP skyrocket (i mean, IT WILL) (that's a PTS viper green emoji by the way)
Hey, I really appreciate the insight and good wishes! Never dealt with custom anything before, so it's pretty exciting.

The CXX providing a better chance of PTS makes complete sense to me. I also think it's better to talk to somebody directly and get a dialogue going. I think everything in life works more smoothly when people realize you're a real human being. Also, my CXX request requires a leap of imagination on their side, so it really requires a discussion vs. somebody just taking an order...

Now to talk to my SA and get the lines of communication opened up (That'a a PTS Meissen blue thumbup)

It's probably been mentioned somewhere in this long thread, but besides PTS, LTS, and deviated stitching what other Porsche Exclusives are approved?

...or is it pretty much whatever you can think of as long as you come up with the dough? And if this is the case does anyone have any suggestions (and still look classy without going overboard)?

This is specifically for a 991.2GT3.

It is funny... lots of the uber expensive 'customizations' that seem to get through are basic color and material changes to 3rd party items such as seats.

People seem to have had success with the door sill strips too.

Great question, I'd love to hear of some myself. Although something tells me that the few that have truly one off of Exclusive Options, don't frequent RL.

If I'm lucky to pull the handle and win PTS, I'll be sorely tempted to do something like this on my Turbo S. It won't be inexpensive, but I love piping on the seats (CXX).

Gulf Blue? Riviera Blue? Or something else, I can't decide -- and won't have to untill later this year.
