Few questions about blue PTS, mostly regarding how much they resemble pictures in real life.
Torquoise Blue
Looks stellar!
Alberta Blue: Looks magnificent her, not sure if it has the same presence in real life - what do you think?
One of the few epic Cobalt Blue images I saw, however I'm not sure how well it translates into real life. I saw other Cobalt Blue images where the car is much darker... If it resembles this image however, this colour is amazing!
Deep (careful, don't confuse it with Dark) Sea Blue. Amazing colour on pictures but can hardly find more, do you have some?
Feel free to chime in with pictures of these and other PTS blues and let me know how well which translate into real life.
Kind regards

Hi Gents,
Fingers crossed but looks like I might get luckier then Santa Claus stuck in a chimney at a bikini girls convention.. and have a PTS slot for a GT3.2
So looking for some thoughts! Narrowing it down, any suggestions / ideas that could cater for the following ?
- Retro colour or historical reference.
- Not too loud.
- not too similar to standard available colour.
- LWB / but with silver sticth etc / and PCCB
- Given black accents, probably defer to the matte black wheel as well, but the Alu wheel is striking on the darker colours admittely.
Ive had a bias towards Irish Green for a while after seeing the R in it.. but having second thoughts now.
Appreciate any ideas.
Thanks and Regards

Go through the latest PTS list and google the names see what looks good to you.
Brewster is close to Irish Green if you are going for that look.
Green (just plain green) I like better than signal or viper if you want something more sporty.
Lots of Metallic greens out there if you want a metallic.

Not too loud?
I guess you are ruling out Acid Green then...
I do think a dark : Irish / Brewster would be pretty awesome.
Also Signal Yellow for historical value.

So I have made it through the last of Z356's PTS threads. Took me a while, but very much worth it. Thank you Eduardo. Next dinner in philly area is on me. Bibou or steak, and some good wine, your call. Hopefully you and your companion (wife, partner, guest?) come back soon.

Thanks All. Went through the PTS list and have narrowed down to colours from build years of personal reference (birth date etc) ... ended up with a choice between Irish green (prefer the light yellow hue over the darker bewster) and slate grey (the darker version).
Im back at Irish Green though as you don't see many green cars around, it isn't super bright and was the original thought when PTS was considered. Plus cant go past the R example (see Insta #irishgreenR). Just on that, if anyone chasing easy to find confirmed examples of colours, check out Will Lees Instagram PTSRS.
You have to give it to the R owners who got PTS though, some really different cars / colours which you wouldn't have thought worked but somehow just do.
Some other standout colours though: Signal Orange, Aurbergine, Aqua marine Blue ? Unfortunately per 2015 list aren't available but not sure if I should ask in any case ? Does anyone know of an updated list per chance ?

^^^I know for certain Signal orange is not available (I was the person who tried to have it approved but the colour did not pass testing). I don't believe aquamarine blue met or aubergine are available either.

The lack of oranges is dispiriting to me.
Certainly orange is a historically important
Porsche hue, but there are only a few
orange possibilities on the PTS list.
It's maddening that Porsche can't approve
Signal Orange. Certainly they produced
a good number of 997 and 987s in the similar "RS Orange"
which is also not available.
To cheer up, I may have to look into importing some
old Dutch cars
In the future, we'll look back on this era of Lava and
wonder why Porsche was so limited for
a decade...
