Wow.... 45... That's a long list. Assuming everyone on the depositor list end up buying it (which I'm sure won't be the case) and assuming Park Place gets the same 10 allocation for every 6 month allocations, you're looking at just making it at end up second year production.

However, I'm sure a lot of buyers end up backing out and also when other models debut, a lot of buyers historically will move their deposit to RS and such.

Good luck!

Got a manual allocation confirmed.

That should be the coolest thing to have happened this week, however my son learned to ride his bike, so it's the second coolest thing to have happened this week...

You should tell him ok, but it has to be PTS February and Manual. If any of those 3 is not the end result, then he need to give you 65k under MSRP instead.

Just a quick confirmation call. No way on earth it's V200 IMO, as I'm asking for some 'other stuff' on the build if possible and expressed that I'd rather wait than hurry up.

All I was told that manuals would be Q4 production at the absolute earliest, and I'd expect to be behind even that train.

^It's absolutely possible with a confirmed allocation, commission, and accepted by PCNA/PAG... here is mine and a friend's. One's a PDK at first cycle and one's a manual at 2nd cycle... easy to decipher which is which. There are others out there with the same V200... many of which don't even know about or care to participate in this forum.

Obviously there may be unforeseen production, transport, or EPA/CARB delays once stateside but the point is these sold KF or VIP/VVIP orders are secured and targeted to be built.

Where does the order indicate which transmission or is the assumption based on the production and delivery dates.

^ Intersting. Can this be determined before CXX feasibility? Do they just make a guesstimate?

It won't be on that screenshot.... that's the overview of the order. You're thinking of the build options/spec sheet seen on PSVMS' Confirguration tab iirc... which every order has. And I didn't post the entire order overview screenshot because there is some identification/info there that's private.

Got a very disappointing call today from my Porsche dealership - interested to hear what you think....

I am in the UK and put a £10,000 deposit down over March 2015 for a 991.2 GT3. In the UK they used to accept letters of intent to buy but that changed to cool hard cash - I think from what I have read here it is the same in the US and Canada but more like £1000 deposits.

I was told on the 19th March 2015 I was number 7 on their list. Last time they got an allocation of 7 991 GT3's - eventually they ended up with 14 before the run stopped. I have an email stating I am number 7 on their list in March 2017. Today I was told I would not get an allocation even if they get 14 + cars. They have an allocation of 9 cars to start with.

When I pointed out I was told I was number 7 and have emails to that effect he was decidedly sheepish. He went on to explain they have changed how they allocate cars and the list isn't it anymore - additional factors now taken into account - the usual BS.....

I have asked to speak to their manager who is yet to call me back - I explained I wasn't happy at all...

I understand the dealerships are running a business but I wonder how legal is it to take someones money tell them you are on a list at number 7 and that is how they allocate cars. Then without informing the customer at any point that they have completely moved the goal posts to such an extent I will never get one.

I was reassured by the dealer several times I would be ok - today it was clear unless I but 8+ car I will never get one. I am a Search and Rescue pilot in Scotland and I am never going to able to buy 8 cars to get 1 I really want before I pop off this mortal coil :0) unless I rob a bank or steal a helicopter

It is enough to put you off a brand!! interested to hear what you guys think.
