Sad story but just understand they ultimately do not care $.02 about you and your promise. Unfortunately it is the brand. Unless you are a VIP, famous or some other brand ambassador, good luck. Even the later VIP's don't get that much love.
Probably the reason people leave the brand, but again they could really care less as the demand outperforms the supply 10 fold.
I remember the story below from January 2016 posted in The Telegraph. Find out who represented Mr. Hughes and have him write a letter to your dealer. Bet you get back to number 7.

A Porsche dealer has been ordered to pay more than £85,000 to a pensioner after it sold the rare sports car he had ordered to buyer further down the waiting list.
67-year-old Kevin Hughes ordered a Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 from Porsche Centre Bolton, putting down a £10,000 deposit in order to secure the car.
The model’s production was so limited that only 30 were allocated to the UK, and Mr Hughes was told that he would be “first in the queue” if the dealership was one of those chosen to receive one of the cars, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Thanks for the replies - I agree about them not interested at all in you. I also had to speak to an estate agent this morning - estate agents and car sales people all the same - make you feel they are doing you a favour not the other-way around
Thanks for the telegraph story that is amazing information - just what I need -I found the article and the name of Mr. Hughes solicitor. I will wait to get a reply from the manager in Glasgow and then give the solicitor a call. Definitely worth paying a solicitor to send a few letters - nothing to loose.

I put mine in last week of Feb. You must be way ahead of me

I think Park Place takes care of local clients first, but April 2015 is pretty early so you should get a car.
