I haven't been able to find any options for the 958 regarding clear tail lights. If you are wondering what I am talking about, I'm talking about the look like on the GT3, or say a newer aston martin
I really hate the giant red kidney beans on the back of my white Cayenne and wouldn't mind swapping some clear ones if they exist, does anyone know where I could find them, if so, thank you!
New here? I hate to say it - but that sort of thing looks so JDM/Tuner. Doesn't belong on a Porsche or an Aston.
well I like them on my Aston, and would like them if they exist on my cayenne searches have come up with only blacking out of the tail lights which wouldn't look good with a white car, so was hoping someone here would help me out in my search
To my knowledge, that type of LED replacement taillight is only available for the 955 generation. Once they put LEDs on the 957 and later cars, the aftermarket didn't seem to think there would be much of a market and hasn't produced anything. Wish I could find a tail for my 957 that is similar to what's on my 997 - a light smoke version.

On my 928 Spyder, I used an almost clear headlight film which actually has a very light tint to it - used it on the front headlights too to protect them from highway debris and to blend them into the body just a bit. On the rears, it was just enough to knock the vibrance of the red & yellow colors down a bit.

Doesn't get you to the clear look you're going for, but maybe it helps a little. Once my Misha Widebody conversion is done and the 957 repainted Porsche Onyx White Pearl Effect Metallic, I'll probably do the same treatment to my tails as well.

No clear that I'm aware of (I'm in the camp that thinks they look stupid on the GT3), but there is a factory tinted option. Came standard on the GTS and an option for the rest. Made a world of difference to my DBM CD.
