Just turned 30 last month.... could have bought one way earlier but decided to own Modified Golf R, Audi S4's, and Jeep SRT8's first. All of which obviously had a lot more storage/room for weekend trips.

I was 56 when I bought my 996, now 63. I just ordered a case of 12 Napa Gold oil filters and bunch of crush washers. It's odd that you start to wonder if you'll get a chance to use them all.

You have plenty of time to use those crush washers! My dad, who is now 87, has only recently slowed down on his '66.

Bought mine a month before my 48th bday in January. Like others, this was a long time goal of mine. No regrets!

Bought mine when I was 50 6 years ago but bought my first Porsche the year before (a 997). For me the 997 started it all, but even with all my cars the 996 is my favorite

Purchased my first Porsche this month March '17 at 47 years old. The smiles from me and my 12 year old son are priceless.

Lowpue, wowsa what a beauty - the paint and everything just looks brand new still. Just need a 3rd raditor and she'll look real aggressive. Speed Yellow and Guards Red are the best Porsche colors for a Aero 996 (IMO)

I have been admiring the 911 Porsche since they first came out back in 63 when I was 22 years of age. I must be the oldest 911 owner on rennlist unless someone says differently.

A repost and I am 75 now. Had the car a month short of 6 years.

Twenty eight years of continuous Porsche ownership of various models. This one is the best. I'd like to thank the Porsche family and the engineers for including back seats seats in (almost) all of them. That was the only way this was possible, since we hauled them young'uns around back there all the time.
