61. First Porsche (944) when I was 40. The 996 is much more fun to drive.

Total of 39 cars over 44 years. Was blessed to have grown up when first generation muscle cars were cheap. I'd give my left nut if I could have all of them back....

Your body is telling you it needs a new IMSB

The spatula's are meant to stop you only at certain places. Hot dog stands, hamburger joints, BBQ places , etc

O, forgot to mention bars

Wow, 60% of 996 owners are >40 years old in the poll of almost 500 rennlisters. . I always thought the low $ entry p-car would attract a younger crowd? Or maybe this poll is biasted by the demo that frequent this board in general.

The 996. Introducing a younger generation to Porsche 911s.

The Porsche (our first & hopefully last!) found us last year I was 51 my Wife 53. Every one thought mid-life crisis. But we had been planning it for some years and had been looking at XKr's and old Triumph TR's before we got the Porsche illness / fever.

Glad we did and no cure now

The old 996 owners don't know how to use a computer to respond to your survey. It's all skewed.

Thumbs up

I have had 17 Porsches (if you count the 5 914's), all of the rest have been of the "911 family". At the present time we have a 99 and a 2001TT. The 996's are by far the best Porsches I have owned. I will be 68 in a couple of weeks.
Keep On Driving!!!
