I watched it when it when through. Didn't make reserve but sold for less than the $65K it ended at. Hard to say why it ended up at $63K. Someone ate the fees involved. If the miles were true, that was a great buy. I'm surprised Wilhoit didn't buy it (or may have). I bet it will pop up somewhere soon for $100K.

Yeah Interesting that the auctioneer started by asking for bids of $100K and then had to drop all the way to $40K before someone bid.

googled the VIN and it came up on www.davidsclassiccars.com. Here is some info that was on that site that didn't make it to the ebay ad:

Needs Work
Small oil leak
AC does not work
Difficult to **** in 2nd gear but definitely manageable
