Without service history to back it up and knowing how delicate Porsche odo gears are, actual mileage will be a mystery.

Based on that driver's seat, I'd say the odo stopped working about 100k ago.
Probably so. If someone needed a donor body, the body looks decent.

The Weissach is no way a 40k mile car. It shows a lot of wear not in line with a low mile car.
The odo gear was broken at some time.

Petrol Blue, OB, Euro, 5-Speed for only $8,500. This one doesn't look half bad either. Love that color on a 928. Were manholes an option in '79?

Spoilers were added at some point but looks pretty nice for the price. Don't believe manholes were available in 79. T

The '79 euro petrol blue with black interior is decent, I agree.
Nice car and seller had done plenty of maintenance on it himself. Had his rear seats re-dyed black to match. Some mild rusts and corrosion to the body per seller. Has been on sale for a little more than 6 months.

No radio and if I remember, some leaks with the car. Don't remember what though.

I'm not surprised this car hasn't sold in spite of its very rare color!

Things I like: the original color, general condition of the interior (looks "honest" and easy to finish up) , the black leather with tan carpets...unusual, the good looking original paint in the jambs. The paint on the driver side engine compartment.

Things I don't like: the paint on the passenger side engine compartment...black?, a few different shades of yellow on it..figures. the 15" wheels, easy fix.

Priced right if could be had in the teens..maybe. With few exceptions, They only get worse the closer you look. Only recently really starting to appreciate this color on the 928.
