And why would you do that anyway. Starts to get loose during 120 mph cornering without the spoiler to dump all that rear end aerodynamic lift. This one was probabaly used as a drift missle.

Nice car, but I have to come back to what was being said about mileage earlier. This is another one, for which I don't believe the stated miles. 54.000 is too low for the condition of the seats I think. (Unless the owner was wearing sandpaper for pants...) However, that still makes it a nice car. I am not knocking it. I am just coming back to the known or unknown mileage topic...

After reading link above, either the "S" FBC (duct cutouts) was swapped in along with a "S" front spoiler. Or, the rear spoiler was deleted and non "S" rear qtr glass trim installed ? IIRC holes in upper rear qtr panels just below rear qtr glass (and bottom of hatch?) would also need to be filled/painted ? T

Always had a childhood fascination for 928s and really wanting to scratch that itch for a couple of months (planning on picking up a 997 in spring). Reputation as a money pit scares the hell out of me (I don't have the time or inclination to work on cars anymore)

Any thoughts on this 1987 S4? Haven't taken a look yet but appears very clean
https://asheville.craigslist.org/cto/5838038278.html

Just not my color

Then there's this 1985, which has been somewhat modded, but at least looks clean
https://asheville.craigslist.org/cto/5861267413.html

Seller says major works were done before he bought it, selling because has too many toys and that he's only done 200 miles on it in last 4 years:
- With that amount of sitting around is that a case of move on now?
- waiting on confirmation of mileage and vin

Or I could just go for this clunker and sell it for parts / scrap for minimal loss if it craps out...
https://asheville.craigslist.org/cto/5852381548.html

The idea of a tatty looking but sound runner appeals but I very much doubt there are many true wolves in sheep's clothing out there

Any thoughts / advise would be appreciated

Door (link) # 1 above appears to be the best car out of the three...if the sellers description is accurate. T

Just watching? Probably should have your wife duck tape your arms to the chair just to be safe.
