To collectors mileage is one of the most important factors, it's the one thing you can never change. Anything over 50k - 60k is considered high miles (20k in the Ferrari world). This GT has over 160k miles.
As nice as this car is (I've seen this car and Mark tried to get me to drive it up the mountains last year) the fact is it needs a re-paint to be perfect: "The seller notes a small rust bubble in one of the quarter panels just below the window".
All things considered, I feel it was well sold and bought. Someone now has a very, very rare and beautiful GT they can actually drive without being paranoid about hurting the value.

1981 928 65K miles. Silver. 5 spd, needs trans work. Rubstrip delete. Sunroof. Interior cracked, but not horrible. no affiliation. He wants $6500, but its not worth that. Its in Montana.
