After a bit of chatting with the new school kids who were a bit envious of NA freedom, it was time to say goodbye. They're good guys, just a different duck. Kind of sad being the last of a breed on the lot.
The listing says it's a 6 speed. I saw a new 911R at my local dealer last week with a close ratio 6 spd ( I could post some good pix if anybody is interested), but just wondering if urs is really a 6 spd.
Per STG's earlier reply, it's a 7-speed manual transmission. Unfortunately the Rennlist Vehicle Marketplace subforum doesn't have a 7MT option, so 6MT was the closest I could choose. Apologies for any confusion!
I was able to snap a few quick photos of my interior tonight. If anyone is interested in a specific photo of my 2013 991.1 C4S that's for sale, please let me know. (That makes this the fifth GT Silver car in a row, STG )
In over 3yrs of looking at used 991's, this is the first time I've ever seen 4 GT Silvers for sale at once. Was always hard enough even finding one. Good time for fans of that color.
Not 'hot pick of the week'...but worth considering for those interested in a PTS gt3!
I am working on getting a 911R & might
have to part with my 991 gt3 to be able
to afford that model. This is one of only
ten PTS 'Signal Green' gt3s built in late
'15 production after a PTS moratorium
was declared in early Fall of 2014 by PAG
effecting all remaining 991 gt3 to be built!
With no PTS gt3s built for MY2016 & very
few PTS gt3's built for MY2014, this 'Signal
Green' '15 is a rare bird in 991 gt3 circles!
And this particular car of mine is a low miles
example that has not yet been 'broken-in'.
Thus it has never been revved past 4500 rpm,
much less hit its unique 9000 rpm limit! So
no track events...just a few outings around
the neighborhood! This car, with just 705
miles (of which the first 15 or so were put
there by PAG), is the closest thing you will
find in the market to a brand new PTS 991
gt3 for sale...and it's the very rare & desirable
'Signal Green' color!
With the arrival of the RS, the 991 gt3 has
been pushed into the background here at
Rennlist. That is too bad because the base
gt3 continues to be the best looking gt car
in the current line-up! I was fortunate to
have driven a friend's 991 gt3 for over
1600 miles at a recent Porsche tour of
'West Texas' & I can tell you the 991 gt3
is the most exciting Porsche I have ever
driven in my life! And only the 911R
would prompt me to giving it up. Folks
here are speculating about the .2 991 gt3
& that is all fine & good. But if you want
PTS & think 'Signal Green' is a stunning
color (like I do), I would suggest that it
might make sense to look into buying
this one as a hedge against the 'unknown'
future of PTS & the end of naturally-aspirated
Porsche gt3s! So caveat emptor.
For those that didn't follow the story of these
10 'Signal Green' gt3's here on Rennlist, all of
them were specced the same by PAG/PCNA &
were 'not changeable' by the few lucky
dealers in the US that got an allocation. Only
two dealers were able to add PCCB to their build.
Otherwise, all 10 late allocation '15 991 gt3s in
'Signal Green' were identical! Here is the spec
of my car:
*******************
To my knowledge, the last of these rare 'Signal Green'
gt3s that came up for sale was at $225K. And that one
had 1562 'hard miles' put in demo track rides for IMSA's
car events by professional drivers!

Asking Price is $188,991. In-Service Date for my car is May 16, 2015.
The car is located at my home in North Scottsdale, Arizona. For more

Is that because GT Silver was an upcharge? I see a lot more Rhodium cars for sale typically. Love GT Silver, it's the best of the "neutral" colors outside of any PTS.

Yes, upcharge on .1's
Although on .2's, now a standard color. Will expect to see more of them now.
