'Porsche Exclusive' - Latest Personnel Changes & Contact Information in North America
I have learned that PCNA will announce
shortly the replacement for Melissa Witek
(who left to work for Mercedes Benz) at
'Porsche Exclusive' in Atlanta.
***
In addition, I am happy to report that
Sascha Glaeser, the former manager of
'Porsche Exclusive' for North America,
is now working for an independent US
dealer....Porsche of Beverly Hills. I wish
Sascha much success in this new position,
where he will be a tremendous asset to
anyone trying to order a customized
Porsche from that dealership!
Sascha can be reached at the contact
address & telephone below:
So I've been looking for a good pic of telesto grigio since I have been pondering it for my future order. Finally found some from GMG. Looks amazing. Anyone want to take credit for ownership of the car and post more pics

That is a damn nice grey! Is Telesto Grigio the official color? I assume it's an approved PTS? That just joined my PTS list...
I would love to specifically confirm which green this is.
Looks like Amazon Green or Rainforest Green (sometimes
spelled Rainforrest Green) to me.
Your guess is as good as any. Photos of auto colors are
notoriously unreliable to help us identify with certainty a
particular PTS color. This partial view of the recently
installed 'Wailing Wall of Porsche PTS' at Zuffenhausen's
Customer Center reveals some of the many hues of green
that they offer:
And I would suggest you also look at this older thread
which discusses 'Brewster', 'British Racing Green' & 'Irish'.
It could also be one of those. In general, folks ordering PTS
(& specially dealers doing it on spec) are NOT that daring.
And most likely follow PTS fads or 'trends'. Right now,
'British Racing Green' & 'Brewster' seem to be making an
up-swing in popularity. And it would not surprise me if
this Belgian RS ends up being, for example, 'BRG'!
I am working on getting a 911R & might
have to part with my 991 gt3 to be able
to afford that model. This is one of only
ten PTS 'Signal Green' gt3s built in late
'15 production after a PTS moratorium
was declared in early Fall of 2014 by PAG
effecting all remaining 991 gt3 to be built!
With no PTS gt3s built for MY2016 & very
few PTS gt3's built for MY2014, this 'Signal
Green' '15 is a rare bird in 991 gt3 circles!
And this particular car of mine is a low miles
example that has not yet been 'broken-in'.
Thus it has never been revved past 4500 rpm,
much less hit its unique 9000 rpm limit! So
no track events...just a few outings around
the neighborhood! This car, with just 705
miles (of which the first 15 or so were put
there by PAG), is the closest thing you will
find in the market to a brand new PTS 991
gt3 for sale...and it's the very rare & desirable
'Signal Green' color!
With the arrival of the RS, the 991 gt3 has
been pushed into the background here at
Rennlist. That is too bad because the base
gt3 continues to be the best looking gt car
in the current line-up! I was fortunate to
have driven a friend's 991 gt3 for over
1600 miles at a recent Porsche tour of
'West Texas' & I can tell you the 991 gt3
is the most exciting Porsche I have ever
driven in my life! And only the 911R
would prompt me to giving it up. Folks
here are speculating about the .2 991 gt3
& that is all fine & good. But if you want
PTS & think 'Signal Green' is a stunning
color (like I do), I would suggest that it
might make sense to look into buying
this one as a hedge against the 'unknown'
future of PTS & the end of naturally-aspirated
Porsche gt3s! So caveat emptor.
For those that didn't follow the story of these
10 'Signal Green' gt3's here on Rennlist, all of
them were specced the same by PAG/PCNA &
were 'not changeable' by the few lucky
dealers in the US that got an allocation. Only
two dealers were able to add PCCB to their build.
Otherwise, all 10 late allocation '15 991 gt3s in
'Signal Green' were identical! Here is the spec
of my car:
*******************
To my knowledge, the last of these rare 'Signal Green'
gt3s that came up for sale was at $225K. And that one
had 1562 'hard miles' put in demo track rides for IMSA's
car events by professional drivers!

Asking Price is $188,991. In-Service Date for my car is May 16, 2015.
The car is located at my home in North Scottsdale, Arizona. For more
information, please contact me via email at: <venegas356@gmail.com>.
It has been on the PAG approved PTS list for a little while. It is
color made popular by Lamborghini.
On the photos posted above it was hard to see the metal flakes
in the paint, but it's there. You can best see it on this shot of the
painted key fob:

That is exactly why I shot that picture. From further away it is grey, but it really does have a knack for changing hues given the colored flakes. Honestly, it has been one of my favorite cars in here to date.
Eduardo, quick question for you. I have been told that back in the seventies there was a general push for brighter colors by German auto manufacturers (to improve "safety"), however I am struggling to find any documentation of this (English or Deutsche). Do you know of any verbiage that talks of this?

I will look into it to see if PAG ever talked about why
they introduced such spectacular range of 'bright' colors
starting in late 60's & early 1970's. But some of the
colors selected for these new offerings give us an idea
by their very names as of to Porsche was 'thinking' at
the time:
I have made it my business to try to have as many of
'Signal' colors as possible in past & present Porsches.
So far, only 'Signal Orange' has escape my ownership.
And hopefully I'll have one of those soon! My latest
acquisition - a 'Ravenna Green' 1973 2.0- is a stunningly
'bright' color, to put it mildly!

Thank you, I have been looking from a vintage bmw perspective. During the same period you saw a similar strategy from Bavaria. Taiga Grun, Golf Yellow, Colorado Orange, Turkis Blau, etc. I saw mentioning of a national push at one time, but never anything more than a sentence in passing.
