Probably correct then. I wonder what color the side decal script is in. Looks almost like Signal Yellow.

Eduardo, would you be willing to talk more about Brewster, BRG, and Irish green? (I know you've covered some of this before)

Default 'BRG', 'Brewster' & 'Irish'...

Daniel:

'British Racing Green', as most of you know, is the official racing color
of Britain. It dates back to the early days of the 20th Century, the
Gordon Bennet Cup, Count Eliot Zborowski, etc. Because the red, white
& blue of the Union Jack were already taken (by the US, Germany &
France), Britain chose 'Green' because Ireland (fully part of the United
Kingdom then) was host to the 1903 Bennet Cup race! It started out
as a Shamrock green hue...but has since evolved into the darker green
identified today as 'British Racing Green'.

A version of 'BRG' (color code 21D) has been approved for PTS at PAG.
Personally, I see no reason for a Porsche to be painted 'BRG', but that
is just my very biased view! But I do happen to love it on Bentleys,
Astons & other English cars!

****

'Brewster Green' was a newly formulated color for the 991 Club Coupe Limited Edition of 2012:

It was supposed to be similar to a PTS color chosen by Wolfgang Porsche
for his 993 911 Turbo S....

http://www.9magazine.com/why-was-bre...ed-club-coupe/

But I have seen that 993 & I don't believe it's the same color!

Nevertheless, 'Brewster Green' has been available for a number of
years now as PTS (color code 22B) & it's a very elegant & beautiful
color!

***

'Irish Green' was first used by Porsche in the C model 356s in
MY1964 & MY1965. It was a very popular color in those years.

It was a color carried over into the early 911's when these started
production. And it was continued for many years in that vintage
period!

'Irish Green' is currently available as PTS (color code Y79) at PAG.

It may look like this (not confirmed) on a 991:

***

All of these colors are solid/uni (non-metallic).

Thanks Eduardo. While all fairly close, I've heard Brewster described as leaning to grey, Irish as more yellow, and BRG as tending to blue. Is that accurate in your opinion? And do you have wailing wall photos of these colours? Would these be some of them?

Or any photos of side by side comparisons on cars?

Here are a few other (not all verified) photos I've gleaned from around the web.

Irish (from RL):

(bottom one you posted)

Brewster (from RL):

BRG (could be Brewster?)??

And here is an unknown RS from ptsrs's instagram:

AP's car (if it is AP's personal car), is definitely not Brewster Green. I think it's BRG, which is two shades lighter than BG.

The RS from my Instagram has been confirmed by the dealer in the Netherlands to be BRG.

Yes it is indeed BRG, confirmed.

Here is an interesting comparison of Brewster Green under different lighting conditions.

In the photo, the PORSCHE script looks
to be similar to the PCCB brake calipers:

If the photo represents the actual colors on
that script, I would think it's 'Speed Yellow'
and not 'Signal Yellow'. But we do need
confirmation from PAG on the color of that
script.

Definitely 'Irish Green' has some noticeable yellow tint in
its color formula. I have never seen Porsche's version of
'British Racing Green' in person, so I can't comment. I
have so far seen two of the 13 'Brewster' club coupes
made:

A) The Porsche Museum's copy at Zuffenhausen back
in 2013:

B) The one owned by an American shown at the PCA Monterey
Parade in 2014!

The color variation of 'Brewster' when exposed to the
natural sun light is dramatic. And in the shade 'Brewster'
might indeed have some grey overtones!

Sorry but I don't have photos of the color samples of these
three PTS colors. In my trip last year to Zuffenhausen, PAG
had not yet put up the expansive
'Mother of All Wailing Walls' ,
which is currently on display at the Customer Center:

I only saw the 'mini' wailing wall on one of the rooms where
customers can have design consultations with the a rep from
Porsche Exclusive. And the selection there at the time did not
include 'Irish', 'Brewster' or 'British Racing Green'!

***

Or any photos of side by side comparisons on cars?

I don't. I bet there are not that many recent 'Irish',
'Brewster' & 'BRG' PTS Porsches that have 'met' in
same place & been photographed together!

Thanks all for that info. I hope we see more of these interesting greens.

As for the side script, and based on NateOZ's experience ordering "red orange" stripes (closely matching LO for his RS) and info I've heard elsewhere, I suspect the vinyl used to create these CXX stripes and script were not named after nor exact colour matches to any known Porsche paints. Chances are the yellow goes by some other name according to its manufacturer, but is close enough to make for a good pairing with Speed yellow.
