Went to a business meeting today to meet a new prospect.

While there the guy I meeting with asks what I do for fun. Golf, etc.. I stated not a golfer, I would rather spend my time messing around with old cars more than anything. He responded saying he had a car long ago that he loved more than anything. A 1981 Porsche 928. I laughed and said I fully understand. I actually drove a 928 to our meeting. He couldn't believe it.

After months of backlog and waiting, Porsche wasn't able to make me lock cylinders. Womp womp.

I'll be digging around Rennlist with alternatives.

As for the car, drove to Invermere, BC for the weekend in the rain. Need to buy wipers as they disintegrated before my eyes as I went faster. Ol' gal can still handle fast.

Default Euro 1978 928 Moccabraun Pasha Interior non sunroof manual

What did I do, Happiest two days of a 928 owner, The first day You buy one and the day you sell it! Only kidding, saved this one and recommissioned it back on the road. Kept it for a year and enjoyed it. Now sold to a great enthusiast and collector who's going to take it to the next level. Have another 1978 US model which I rescued and am doing the same to it. Being mechanically restored by 928 Classics. Probably will keep that one a bit longer.

I finally got around to adjusting ride height after untold scrapes on the front spoiler. So, replaced spoiler, and new Boge shocks, rack, inner and outer tie rod ends, and MM months ago, and took care to scrupulously clean adjusters as I learned from experts here. Prior to adjustment I was 150mm up front and 180 in the rear. Set it up at 170 front and 175 rear. I have read what a difference this can make in the driving dynamic but holy crap. This car drives fantastic. Easy steering get effort, very smooth and precise.
Very much worth the effort and sweat laying on my garage in 100 degree heat. Need to get an alignment done again.

Removed the plastic headlamp covers, sanded, primed and now spraying top coat. The Base plates were looking very flat so polished with T-cut and a layer of overspray or something came off and perfect underneath

Where did you get your Boge shocks from?

I got them from Roger. You might want to consider getting new bump stops too, mine were mostly disintegrated.

Installed new steering wheel in the S4. Big thanks the "Sharks" Mark Haddlesey for sending it down to Atlanta after my schedule changed and couldn't make it to Sharks In Hell.

I started it to see if it would start. Been over a 100 every day for the past 2 months plus. To frigging hot to swap out the tranny, or work on any thing other than a gin & tonic. When it cools down, and I sober up, I'll get it ready for 3rd coast.
