Internet honesty, welcome Thinc2!! This thread is the BEST thread on the internet!! I wish it wasn't so good. I picked up a 2013 C4S Cab in March and love it. Love it so much that I actually call the dealers on some of the cars posted here, because... I could also love another one!!

I have a Maserati GranTurismo as a weekend car, and am seriously leaning towards a Targa as a daily driver - I could really use something with 4 wheel drive. But in reality I don't need to make a change until March 2018.

I think that may be a 2013 and maybe around $600K when new. Don't know these cars too well. It is a 991 RSR though!All carbon fiber panels. Even the wheel well liners!
No passenger seat though and no Bose
I guess these are so loud inside, drivers need ear plugs in addition to the helmet!

Same 991 lights as ours. The front headlight lenses are just bolted on. Lightweight plastic.
18" wheels. Rotors and calipers smaller than I was expecting. The pros prob don't ride them too much anyway. Plus lightweight car too.

I'm still looking... Looked at and drove a 2013 C2 manual today. Previously all I had test driven (in 991s) have been PDK and S's. I really enjoyed being back in a manual and the combo of the non-S and manual drove sportier than I thought it would. First auto-blipper car I've driven, thought it was pretty cool! Concerned I'll miss that extra 50 HP though and the used price difference between base and S isn't that large, though it seems easier to find a manual in a base.
I also drove a 2014 981 Cayman S PDK back-to-back with the 991 C2. 981 Cayman really feels oh-so-crisp in the handling department, but the 991, even the base, still out-grunts it by a margin.
Even with this thread, it's damn hard to find the perfect car. I think right now my 'perfect' spec is:
I'm willing to flex on almost any of my wants individually, but when I start missing on two, three or more of them, I end up not puling the trigger.

- 7-speed manual. (newest want, still considering PDK's)
- Exterior in shade of gray, white, or blue.
- NOT a tan interior.
- Sport Chrono, Sport Exhaust.
- Well priced.
- Ideally close enough that I could look at it without too much hassle.
- Awesome condition inside and out, no carfax blems.
- Full leather would be an fantastic addition.

Ok, since you asked, here is my shopping list if anybody sees anything:
Looking for a well kept ~2012 991 Carrera S with the following options:
Black interior
PDK
Sport Chrono
Sport Exhaust
Vent/Heat Seats
Would be nice:
Heated Steering
Parking Sensors
Prem Package Plus
Mileage isn't a concern as long as maintenance can be verified.
Would prefer to find an Aqua Blue Metallic coupe, but would consider Coupes and Cabs in Bassalt black, Ruby red, or silver, maybe Agate...
If Black/Silver, would prefer a cab.
Can't do guards red, yellow, or solid black.
