I bought one of the CR Spotless systems back in 2010 when MoeMistry was selling them. Not sure if he still does or not, but it's been great.
Should be considered a required purchase for non-metallic black cars.

Got the car back from the Indy shop, who R&R'd the clutch, flywheel, IMS seal and rear main seal. I supplied parts which I bought from another forum member a while back. Complaint and reason for clutch job was that clutch would rattle when car was up to temperature, sitting and idling, but rattle went away if in neutral and clutch pedal pushed in. No rattle at all once rolling.
Turns out a previous owner installed an Aasco lightweight flywheel. I replaced with a new Luk dual mass flywheel, OE replacement. Rattle gone and car has much better road manners now. I'm too old to tolerate an aluminum flywheel anymore!
Look for the flywheel in a classified ad near you soon....

One of my front grilles had some bubbling, peeling paint. Why not spend a bunch of money to get it replaced?

Next up, I want to replace the transaxle oil … Mobilube PTX here we come - that is, if I can find some here in Sydney!

Thanks, I always thought I would like the grilles in black. My wife didn't notice, though.
PM me if anyone wants the old grilles. Free + shipping from NC.

While pulling into driveway yesterday, I noticed my 997.2S was closing in on its next round # birthday - 42K miles. Several dozen miles short. So, my plan was to wake up early and beat the heat and go over 42 large the way the good Dr. Porsche intended - with Sport Plus engaged and on a nice country road. OK, this is Texas and it's July, it was already 85+ when I went out at 7 and change A.M. But, not to be deterred, I still took the unicorn on a little Texas-sized jaunt to reach 42,000 & about 150 miles beyond that. Some nice roads up near Bulcher, Spanish Fort and Illinois Bend...T

Finally installed my turbo rear deck/wing!
I've been gathering/acquiring the components for the install over the last 4 months, trying to keep the project on a budget. I opted for a fixed wing in order to save some weight, remove some complexity and not have to modify the airbox/intake. I had custom pieces CNC/water jetted out of aluminum for the wing risers and support plates....that part was probably the most fun!
I'm only missing the rear emblem, but will probably go with "Carrera" in gloss black. Next item is the turbo front bumper.
