browsed through the Build Sheets after a few weeks of other "stress" and found following "new arrivals" (better late comers):
2062
2098
2222
2238
2908
Seems that 2910 is the last known Build Sheet so far.
In the German PFF now also the overall worldwide 981 Spyder number was revealed (officially from Porsche AG): 2486 Spyder (including all pre-series builds)

Less than 2500 worldwide. Crazy to think about that!

Porsche Vancouver only got 5 Boxster Spyders so the car is quite rare. I get plenty of looks when I drive the car and when I park it with the top down people walking by will stop to look. I get more attention in the Spyder then I did when I had my GT2RS.

Hi Edwin. Congrats on the 981! Beautiful cars! Are you still enjoying that beautiful 964 RS? Hope those Mag's are working out.
I just picked up an '11' Spyder and just love it.These two models are so rare and incredible. With less than 900 - 1,000 examples for each of the two variants in NA, the sightings are few and far between. Best part though is that these cars just beg to be driven. Wow!!!

33 Spyders built in Calendar Year 2009
1418 Spyders built in Calendar Year 2010
493 Spyders built in Calendar Year 2011
0 Spyders built in Calendar Year 2012
TOTAL 1944

So if JBoxsterK's figure is correct and there were 2,486 981 Spyders produced, that's 542 more than the 987 Spyder, or 28% more 981 cars.
Goes to show just how rare the 987 Spyders are!

Yes indeed. I had the pleasure of meeting Eduardo once up in Carmel. What a gentleman, and a serious Porschefile. This is where my info came from too, his post in exquisite detail.

Thanks. I'm enjoying my Spyder and the car, not me, gets plenty of attention.
My RS is keeper and I am replacing the mags with BBS E88 wheels so the mags will be boxed up and properly stored. I'm going to track the RS next month so I don't want to damage them.
