Wow, this was really neat to follow this past year. Congrats on buying line 88. Now I have to open up that spread sheet again and take a look. I already forgot what line # I am. 88 is a lucky number in some cultures I believe.

UPDATE: cool build, old-school and very classic imho.

I was reading the entries and just want to say to those reading this thread from the beginning that they should realize that the data-base morphed over time and we are all so thankful for the OP's response to his readers and his development of the spreadsheet. The OP is an asset to this forum as is the spreadsheet.

finally got some time to get caught up - the first 4-5 north American vehicles are now known except for one of them. still a number of missing cars but many are now accounted for. The stats haven't changed much except for a few more PTS cars - still missing the actual color for most of the PTS cars

so, we're now up to 823 known cars even though the Porsche database seems to only have 818 of them. The other 5 are either from Carfax or various searches around the interweb. I'd suspect there are about 850 cars total in north America given some of the VINs not accounted for.

Line #823 here. Purchased the car from the Porsche Exchange in Skokie. It's my understanding it was sold to the dealership's owner who'd purchased a 918, and it's been sitting in their warehouse for 6 months. It has 15 miles but it's being sold as a CPO. The ISD is somewhere around 6/1/16.

63A....
Yes, very excited. Holding my breath, though, hoping it's going to feel as good as GT4.

Having had both, I think the Spyder feels better especially on the street even if the GT4 may be slightly faster on the track.

Thanks to a couple of RL'ers and some interweb sleuthing, 4 more cars added and a couple of prior ones updated with correct info.

Still looking for help with the PTS cars...
