Hi everyone. New Forum member here. Any build/price comments on this offering would be much appreciated. This thread is VERY helpful. No listing price on car.guru.
Can we get back to business now? We've had a good run here and would like to keep it that way.
We're about pre-owned 991.1 cars here and educating/sharing info on them. That's it. Making the dream come true for 911 enthusiasts. Simple mission which we've succeeded in many times over. Like I said "we". Thanks to all the contributions of the many Hot for Sale supporters. Looking forward to the wealth of knowledge that can be shared here by those that share our passion.
Going forward, this thread will be on the radar of the RL moderators more than it has been. Like I said, it's all business with a little fun thrown in. Looking for drama? It won't be tolerated here. That being said, I will make a conscious effort to be kindler/gentler in certain situations. Let's have some fun now and help some fellow enthusiasts out
2016 Mexico Blue GTS Manual.
I think they're priced a bit high, but find another Mexico Blue GTS.
They're asking around $122K
Anyway, nice car to look at as "Hot for Sale" is open for business.
Damn looks like I got Trump'd. I'll see myself out the door, I've clearly been schooled by our self-nominated admin.
FYI I never said this thread wasn't useful so you can chill out with your ridiculous childish tantrums. This is clearly a great thread and has been immensely helpful for many. That said this is also an internet forum and you're drunk with power over the page views and thread rank. It is all just a bit silly especially when you start making decrees over what shall and shall not be in a thread. '991.1 or DIE'? For real? Step back from the keyboard every so often and stop taking it so seriously. Drive your car. Hug a loved one. Enjoy life!
Can't wait to see what happens when a 991.2 deal gets posted in here! Should be good times.
I don't really understand what motivates you. Create you own damn thread and create your own following. Its bad enough that we have two different cars in the 991 forum, now you want to pollute this thread with two different models. Sure STG has no ownership of the thread, nor of RL, however there is an etiquette that is absolute and hijacking another's thread is about as egregious as it gets.

Great color and great looking car (I'd probably do away with the clear tail lights). If they were being reasonable on the pricing for a used car I'd be interested.

It's funny, I prefer blue overall, but I don't care for Mexico Blue. Too pastel for me.
I was going to hold up a local 2015 GTS Cabriolet for comparison that I'm pretty sure is unpunched because they're advertising $18k off sticker, but then I realized the asking price is still higher - $126k on a $144k MSRP car. It's not unusual either, since it's white / black and PDK.
Also noticed a 2015 guards red / grey Turbo advertised at 15% off, or $35k off list, again new and presumably unpunched (the build sheet doesn't list a warranty start date, anyway). It's a ridiculously overoptioned car, $51k in options and 2 page build sheet, so they're still asking $167k after the discount.

Paint to sample colors have a near cult like following. Either you're on board or not. Totally a personal choice like Manual vs. PDK. I love some of the great blues and greens. Classic Porsche colors from the 70's, etc. Most of them are NOT metallic colors.
Hi everyone, I'm a new member looking to buy my first porsche. Thinking of getting a 2013 Carrera. Was going to pull the trigger on this car until I saw the carfax.
