We had a nice shot of spring today.. 14 above. Spent a good day in the yard, enjoying the sun.

Finally, a forecast that prompted a customer to book a multi-stage polish. This is a slow start to the 2014 season , I had 16 Pcars polished and ready for spring by this date in March last year. Brutal.

I took mine out for the first time this weekend. Grinning from ear-to-ear. At least Winter storage makes me appreciate the car more when I finally get to drive it again.

Insurance this weekend just to get it out of hibernation, but no regular driving until at least the 2nd week in April... have a PCA IDS session April 19th at Mosport so it's coming out whether the weather cooperates or not

Had mine out all winter but threw the new wheels and tires on. Drove fine.

Now for lowering springs and an alignment....then pics.

I'm hoping to drop the sump plate on my Boxster S 3.2L this week and inspect to see if there are any goodies, misc plastic / metal pieces in there.

I've got a tranny jack coming from Harbor Freight (via returning snowbird inlaws). Depending on what I find in the sump, I might drop the tranny and do the IMS/RMS seal. Temps should be warm in enough in the evenings that I can work comfortably in the garage with a few layers on, and my fingers won't freeze.

We still have a lot of snow here in Heidelberg. No grass showing yet on the front lawn. Rink is still solid.

Maybe end of April if weather holds up, I'll put it on the road.

Probably at least a month. Tires shot on one car, battery needed for the other. Will happen eventually.

Could not wait any longer and took her out for a highway run Saturday mid day. Fired up like a champ as always first key turn and ran flawlessly. Cant wait for the first spring road trip.

You guys are brave with all of the nasty winter road-grime and PILES of salt still around. I'm waiting for a few rain storms to wash it all away before mine sees any action...so like May 1st?

Well we dont have to as we drive all winter but I get Jakob's point. I dont get the guys who faithfully put their car away at the first hint of road salt but then take them out in March when its -15 and there are literally piles of salt on the road; I mean PILES!

Cant resist I guess!
