It's very odd. When I practice and when my son is playing it works with no issues. We've had it for over a year with no issues at all. And I've had no problems on shorter practice sessions with the group online. It's frozen twice now during our races. Trying to narrow this one down might be a bunch of trial and error.

How does it freeze? I know mine once in a while will send me to the screen like I hit the xbox button. Asking me if I want to quite the game. Then I have to hit the B button twice to get back to the game. Mean while I have no control over the car until I get back to the game.

When my wheel broke. I would be driving and lose ffb while in a corner. I could still turn but the ffb was dead until I powered it off and on again. I sent it back to Fanatec and they told me the wheel hub had broken inside the wheel rim assembly and they also replaced the main cable.

In my case I get a loud solid tone through my headset then all controls freeze....and then bang into whatever wall is straight ahead. The only way to recover is to turn the unit off and reconnect the controller to the console. By the time I do this, I'm far behind and fighting. It happened twice today. After the 2nd incident, it was time to pack it up...I'm wondering if it might be the headset / voice. It's the only difference between practice and racing.

I'd rather be last in GT1 than first in GT2 after today's race. The speed differential was too big, traffic was a killer, and I ended up pushing a guy off-track unwillingly. It sucked for both of us.

The way things are looking I will run the series 50/50 with the SC and the #31 RSR....

I have a wireless headset, I don't plug anything into the wheel.

I have been testing for a couple nights....At first I thought I was going to run the SC for 9 rounds out of 10 but it has changed....greatly...The old RSR is gonna come back in duty a lot more than she thought !!!

At Maple the RSR destroys the SC by 3.5 sec. !!!!

Loll I'm not scared, just aware that I can't afford to lose 30 seconds over the course of a race....You like to tell everybody that you are 1.5 sec. a lap slower than me but not in a Porsche on a track that you can practice ! The SC is very fast but the lack of downforce kills it on many tracks...
