The first corner is always interesting.

Here is is from the back of the pack and then from the front.

Michel the replays you sent were essentially flat 2.05's, You're street car ran easy 2:03's

I tried the race cars you put in the garage and I was low to flat 2.07's and was lucky to get a high 2:06.7 once in a RSR and 2:06.8 in ZR1. Much slower then the street cars I was getting high 2:05's in. I managed a 2:04.9 with the 993 GT2. The race cars don't come close and that's after watching you run 2:04.9's in them. That is why I congratulated dragon on the 2:07 since I knew what I could do in it and he and I are equal. He would have been faster in a non race car as well.

btw all the tunes were great, ZR1 was the easier car to drive all of them were easier to drive then the car I drove today.

Greg, I know I'm 1.5 sec. faster with my modified 997 SC but I uploaded the race cars in case someone wants to use them....They're all high 2:04's and easier to drive for someone with less experience than us two....If these less experienced guys drove my SC they would probably overshoot half of the corners and since they use some assists (like traction control) the car would be very hard to control once it began drifting !

With that small Sedona Club ring I may as well end up using an RSR because I'm not sure the level of grip will be up to it with the SC....I need to compare !

Running more grip there makes me run faster. No doubt. I be running the 996 RSR.

Now it's time for my excuse.... LOL!
I really did have a major time sucking mechanical around lap 5 (guess). I had to reboot my steering wheel after it froze, dropping me from 6th to last.....and not just last, but way back in the deep dark basement of last. It was fun trying to climb out of the hole....looking forward to next week.

Yah you were doing well at the start and ended up 4th in GT2 which is a good showing for us.

My wheel sometime will send me to the quit game screen and I have to hit a couple buttons to get back. If I am fast enough I can save my self from hitting the wall but usually not.

I ended up 0.2 faster in the 997 SC compared to the #80 RSR but the SC is trickier under braking because it carries more speed down the straights (or what you can call a straight out there...) Tough choice....

Last night I got my toughest and most rewarding victory ever in a ALMS type race - 50 laps at Sebring driving the M3 GT and I had to fight all race long against a reknown racer running a Jag XKR. Margin of victory, 1 second ! Top 8 in GT had clean laps between 2:03.6 and 2:04.8 driving cars with stock engines !

Haha will do tonight Greg. I was in lobby 1, lobby 2 was a bit slower, around 1 min. back at the end. You would love running with those guys, many are your age or more and doing track days in real life so there is less reckless driving...

Sadly with a full lobby the replay lasts only around 13-14 laps. Oh well...

Fanatec wheel and Pedals have arrived.. Building a sim this weekend under the stairs, after heading to the wreckers looking for some kids rice rocket that he wrote off with sport seats in it.. have been playing with gamepad but to me there is no translation to actually driving.. hope to get in soon if there is still space
