There is copper in the sump pan, probably main or connecting rod bearings. Since I can't anymore post pictures on Rennlist without paying for a membership, I've started a new thread on another Porsche forum and will continue this thread there. http://reutterwerk.com/forums/showth...808#post372808

if he does that you miss all the early great pics in the thread ...
Same thing happened to me .. membership ran out and it destroyed a bunch of tech articles becuase it deleted pics ..
their loss as far as i am concerned..

I would have to delete a lot of pictures to reach the minimum. Back before I decided to pay for membership, I was only able to post maybe a dozen or two pictures before I reached the limit.
Posting them offsite and linking them doesn't work in the long run because if something happens to the offsite or the files get moved, damaged, deleted, all the Rennlist thrrad will have is a bunch of red Xs. This makes the entire thread useless. If you go back to some old threads, you will see this. The only way to make sure that a thread stays intact is if the site hosts the pictures too. Rennlist should rethink their rules and let everyone post as much pictures as they want. After all they are getting free content from our labour and this makes Rennlist more valuable/makes more money for them when they sell advertising. It really is a no brainer. Keep O/T to members only but not posting pictures.

Yeah, thats why I renewed membership. Just to to be able to post pics. But damn it all to hell I still ended up in OT.

^ I am surprised since there all tons of free photo sharing sites, then just link the image. I believe I mentioned this in the past when the question about posting images came up.

And what happens when the host site goes down or the image folders change location? You'll get red Xs in the Rennlist threads and the thread becomes useless. There are plenty of them here, just look for some really old threads. There are also tons of free car forums that don't charge extra to host pictures. Actually Rennlist is the only one that I'm aware that charges.

Reorg of files happens a lot. Then Poof! it's gone.
So the original point stands. And I agree with it.
