It is mine. Not officially for sale, just trying to see if there is any interest, but for $160K, it is definitely yours. It is heavily optioned (>$70K) and you won't find one like this at this price in Canada. Actually, you likely won't find one optioned out like this anywhere.

Can't afford it, but I'd be happy to test drive and post a nice review and testimonial here, if you'd like!

is it winter driven? and does it come with floormats?

If the answers are yes and no, then no deal.

Somehow I don't think so. Though I did spend many a pre-teen hour trying to convince him to do so! No replacement for the 996tt, unless you count the z06, which he already had, and is now his main track car.

Why would he want to go slower, TINS for a 996 TT.

I can't afford to buy it but I'd be glad to test drive it and report my findings.

The turbo was definitely faster, and a better built car, but the z06 is just so cheap. Law of diminishing returns, I suppose. Plus, the turbo ended up costing $1000 in maintenance each track day. Suspension bushings, cracked rotors, tires, we added it up and the repair bills were ghastly.

Come to think of it, laptimes in the z06 have been better, I think simply because there's less fear of stuffing it into a wall.

Such a beauty. Best of luck selling it. I'll miss seeing it on Hyde Park rd in the spring.
Track days aside, how reliable is it as a cruiser around town?
