I'm not great at market prediction, but if belly button lint and couch crumbs spike on the Exchange, I'll be frikkin LOADED. I'll get my people to call your people.

Very nice car, good luck with sale.

Just add a few badges and some paint and you could sell this as a 918 !

Track days aside, how reliable is it as a cruiser around town?
Very easy to drive around town. The only drawback is that it's very low and not a car that I really want to park anywhere to go shopping. It's loud, so it's not a car that I want to drive to work every day as I don't think my neighbours appreciate the noise that early in the morning.

As for reliability, I've had no problems with it, but I haven't put much mileage on it. Late model Ferraris are much more reliable in comparison to the older ones. The F430 has a chain instead of a belt, so that helps in the maintenance dept.

I suspect I will keep it Sean...just seeing if there is any interest in it. I will sell if the right buyer comes along but I love this car much more than any of my previous cars including the 997 Turbo.

Option #2: You buy the car and you can drool over it any time you like

Difficult to do on a student budget, but I'll see if the bank will extend my loan!

In all seriousness, I say keep the car and enjoy it as much as possible... unless selling it gets you into another car you have your heart set on?? Just curious, either way, best of luck!

Did you try posting your feeler on 6speed? There's an F-car section on the forum that may get some interest...

Would prefer keeping it, but since a Porsche dealership just opened up 5 minutes from my house, driving 5 minutes for service is more appealing than driving 4 hours round trip. Looking at a 2010 GT3 RS.

Don't have it on 6speed or autotrader, but have a post on F-chat. I'm not trying hard to sell it, but will definitely let it go if someone is interested.

Cool. I'm thinking of starting a London GTG in the spring. I'm here every Sunday, and we've got lots of space, plus 2 detail bays. I was talking to Phil (9six4) yesterday, as he lives in London now, and we both thought it would be fun.

It would be. There were about 30 Porsches at a cruise I organized in London last spring, and we did a few coffee days to. It would be great!

Consider it done then - I'll start a new thread when the nice weather is coming, and we'll get something going.

Sorry for hijacking the thread
