I can't understand how Gemballa "improves" a CGT...looks fugly to me...hate what they did to the interior.

Look at the rear wheel camber...just what I would want on a rear wheel swing axle design.

He should at least have tried offsetting the torsion bars by a tooth.

Back in the 70s there were a lot of car kits for the VWs with torsion bar front ends.

There was the Bradley GT, and another that looked like a Porsche 917, amongst many others.

Remember the Manic GT? A car out of Quebec, but not built on a VW chassis.
