Our battery died at the winery. And the sun was so bright it funked up a lot of our 'out the car window' pictures. But Blanca did snap some people pictures:

And the obligatory grape shot. They were really sweet too.

Wow, that sucks to have missed it. I did take in an early 911/356 run yesterday, which was awesome, but it would've been great to have joined you guys too!

Not one longhood in the bunch, Chris.

Bimmermike: That first picture is a stunner. Can you send me a high res version of that? cab87@rogers.com

Thanks

Chris - it would have been nice to see you and your car there. Next time.

Here are my pics. Sorry only static shots from me. My trusty co-pilot took all the action shots. I'll get those up as soon as I can.

This was a well organized and very enjoyable run. Can't thank Jim enough for all his effort. My ears are still ringing from the blast through the Thorold Tunnel. I've got Zook to thank for that!

Best,

Cliff

Thanks Jim and all of you, it's been a great day and it looks we all had an excellent time. Perhaps we could do this a couple times a year, 2008 is basically gone now but hopefully next year?!

Thanks for the great organization Jim! I loved the scenery and the perfect weather. Highlight was seeing all these beautiful Porsches heading back to Toronto on the highway.

A few more. I'll post the video as soon as I get a chance. Thanks Jim for a fantastic run! Great people and great cars. It was really nice to see so many spouses and SO's attend to see what all this rennlist GTG madness is all about. Special thanks to Gary (Budweiser) for the nice Montecristo cigarillo; enjoyed it thoroughly after the great lunch. And to Clive for the gift of a new pair of mechanics gloves; now I'll have to start to use my new tools!

What a great day.

Jim, thank you so much for setting this up. My wife and I had an outstanding time enjoying the cars, weather, scenery and of course, the people. She mentioned to me what a genuinely nice bunch of people you all are and understands why I look forward to the Saturday morning GTGs (which many of you attend).

I took a couple hundred photos today, the ones that turned out okay can be found here:

or a slide show here:

Thanks again Jim.

I got nailed as well on the way home, right at the top of the windshield. Any higher and it would have went in my car and hit me on the face, that would have sucked.

Thanks again Jim, I had a blast!
