But you're still going to have to put up with me. Departing ~ 9:20 Warden/Sheppard. I have driven so little this summer so I'm really looking forward to it.

Departing Trenton at about 730am. What's traffic like on a Sunday morning in TO? Google tells me to take the 401 to the 427 to the 403, is that the best way given traffic? 500K there and back, looking forward to seeing you all again.

Hi Matt, there are 4 ways to get there: 401 West, Don Valley South (404), QEW West (you cross Toronto in the downtown area instead of on 401); 401 West, 427 South ad QEW West (I hear there is only one lane for the exit from 427 to QEW and there was a monumental traffic jam there today however traffic on Sunday at that time is light but it may be closed completelly, I had this pleasure one Saturday night; 3rd, keep going on 401 West past 427 until you see 403 and Hamilton, take that and it will take you to QEW at the Ford plant, one of the worst areas that I've seen for perpetual traffic jams but again you should be fine at that time of the morning (there is a high occupancy lane on 403 so if you are two that's the best option); and the 4th option, 407 ETR Express, 401 West, Don Valley North, 407 West to Hamilton keep going until you get into the QEW at Burlington, the skyway bridge is in front of you and you're basically past all potential traffic jam points; downside it is longer (more kms) and can be expensive if you don't have a transponder. Put your radio on 680 News (AM), they have a traffic update every 10 minutes, if they say all clear take any of these options. Again, at that time of day and given it is not summer you should be OK no matter which alternative you take.
All, make sure you do not drive too fast going down on the skyway bridge, it is one of the preferred points for the cruisers parked somewhere on the side in front of you, they can see you from the moment you have reached the apex and all the way down, very easy to spot speeders or someone changing lanes a bit too often for their liking.
George

I would SOOOOO love to join in on this run one of these years - instead of seeing the great pics afterwards! Looks like it would be well worth the trip from Ottawa.
As luck would have it, I'm actually in the GTA this weekend with my wife and our new little guy (2 months old yesterday), but we're in the family mover and not the 911.
Oh well, it seems like you guys are setting up a nice little tradition - maybe I'll join in and meet you all next year. Have a great run everyone - tomorrow looks like a really fantastic day.
Dave
Edit: Hey Matt - we actually made a stop in Trenton on the way down to Toronto today to feed Owen and grab a bite - had we been stopping in for longer, I would have given you a ring, but I was keeping an eye out for your Targa...

I had a fantastic time today. Great sights, great people, great food, and the drive home was a blast. A bunch of wide body 911's and a great 944 S2. We owned the road!
Thanks Jim for doing this. I think Saturday morning GTG's should be a series of different routes instead of meeting at Startbucks and parking our cars. We didn't buy them to park them.
