Who's doing what to their cars in 2008?
seems like the 6speed canuck section is pretty..well....dead.
What's everyone doing to their cars for 2008?
I've got a bunch of stuff in the works...the Zook knows, the rest of you will just have to wait and see.
I did pick up an EVOMS intake and IPD plenum from Pfaff Tuning.

I am shipping my 997RS to Germany for a week on the Norsdchleife and a week general running..Part of that will be a stop at Manthey to look at lightweight wheels ans possibly a titanium exhaust. Also thinking of GT2 seats.

I need to fix/replace the tranny on my 944. After that, give 'er a paint job. There's some other stuff on the maybe list, such as rear shocks, fixing the a/c, stuff like that.
Ah the joys of owning a 20-year-old car!

No toys for my P-baby, only some new shoes. But there will be a "new" Spec Miata in the garage very soon. It seems strange to say new to a 16 year old car but when the intense massage is finished, it won't look or drive much like it did.

Nordschleife Master
I am looking at putting these into my pre-most system and one into my wife's cayenne.

Also am having my front bumper repainted and then clearbra'd.
I will also fix the brake and mud flaps in the front. I ran over a apex cone and it ripped it out a bit so now they aren't secured properly and are not doing it's job correctly.
Buy an extra set of lug nuts and then repaint my old ones.
Also have to fix the scratches on my rear bumper where some one decided to hit me it the parking lot and then take off without leaving a note.
A set of Michelin Pilot Sport Ribs for the spring and then sending out my winter rims to be refinished.
New set of rotors and maybe have a light weight clutch installed.

On my consideration list for the spring are to add sideskirts and lower the car to loose the 4x4 look ... about an inch?
Also picked up one of the plenums from Pfaff Tuning and may also have them do the Pfaff Sport Exhaust.
Maintenance includes 2 new rears.
But most of all, looking forward to digging the Targa out of storage

Seems that we are all getting a bit restless...
I purchased a set of Yoko Advan AD-07s from Revolution Tire and had EU Autowerks align the car at the end of last season. I'm interested to see what difference a more track focussed alignment will make. On the agenda for April is the installation of the IDP Plenum at Pfaff Tuning and rotors/pads at EU.
I did purchase the aluminium track mats from Rennline last year (great product BTW) and was thinking about their strut tower brace. I have an 01 996 Cab. Any thoughts on this?? Comments would be appreciated.

A new to me 96TT. Down to visit Auguste in the spring to see what the PPI guy missed. Stuttering under load, slight leak at the left side lower valve cover is all I know about so far. Will probably do suspension, possibly this year. When I get it cleaned up I'll decide what to do about front end stone chips.
Nothing sexy this year. Just general sorting out.
