So after the gtg today, I go over the CDN tire to find a metric socket set. To tighten what I think is a rattleing exhaust tip. I find a great deal on a 166 piece set for $47 on sale. Not bad!
So now rachet in hand I try to tighten the tips that don't need anymore tightening. Still hearing the rattleling I am now convinced my car does not like catalic converters.
This is the 4th set on a 2002. Warranty is good for 8 years so I don't have to pay to have it fixed but still, in history these have to the worst invention ever.

Hey Greg it could be your Muffles... The Baffling Inside might has come of its Welds... Both my OEM Mufflers were Replaced (Seprate Occasions) because of this and also my one of my Tubi Muffler (Replaced both Under Warranty)... Best way to cheak this is to have your car up on a Hoist and Tap the Mufflers with a Rubber Mallet... Also Tap the Cat-Pipes since you there...
And since you Taping... Tap some *** Too :P

Maybe your O2 sensors are starting to go so the car is running rich, if they are made by Bosch they probably last only 60K miles (100K km) anyway.
Then again if you drive the car hard all the time and you always snap the throttle closed you will dump raw fuel into the CATs and that won't help them live very long.
