Phil thanks for your comments. I believe anything that brings out passion in an adult is very special.

The people I've met at the GTG have been great car people.

We've owned 4 P-cars, and 2 Vettes. Sold the last Vette (bad story there). Still have a Boxster.

I've enjoyed all the GTG's I've been to, and look forward to more.

Thanks for making it happen!

Regards,

Default GTG's

Wow I miss one weekend and all heck brakes loose. Maybe we should move the GTG's to TMP, we seem to coexist well there, there's lots of parking, and lots of room for burnouts. Best part you can drive on track, and off track, with cars like these.

Damn Eshel I was hoping you would have been there. I got there kinda late but some of the boys were still there and Justin was on his way out then turned back. I got my car back. I wish I had 4 wheel drive then maybe the tires would stop spinning in 2 of the 4 gears

I can vouche for that. Not much wheel spin, but smile cracking, blood curdling, hand shaking, breathtaking power in that 930. Wow, I was not expecting that kind of rush. There seems to be a bit of turbo lag and I though to myself, this car ain't much faster than my normally aspirated 911. Then the turbo kicked in. I thought my twin turbo RX-7 was ridiculously fast...oh no, this is a different level of power. Thanks for the memories Rob.

TINS for a Turbo!

Next time, I think you have my number Mr. Shemmer.
For more incentive, I'll race you for a Cannoli.

Thanks Dan.
I think the Testarossa is somewhat tame in comparison to the 930. The power curve on the Ferrari is so much more linear whereas the Porsche unloads it's power within seconds after the turbo begins to spool. The feeling on the Porsche is very raw whereas the TR seems to be alot more refined grand touring style.
Don't get me wrong, there's loads of power in the Ferrari but the Porsche just whips you back in the seat almost unexpectedly.
