Yes, we can relax about being seen as world class..we've made it almost to the top!....Toronto has the third slowest traffic in the world per the UK Daily Mail today. And this before we narrowed the Gardiner. A few more earnest efforts like the Gardiner and we have a shot at the Grand Prize...Slowest traffic on earth.
That’s one of the reasons that we moved. I used to live in Mimico, it was a chore to head east, I can only imagine what it’s like now with the Gardiner situation.
Well this did not take a rocket scientist to figure out . Thousands of additional cars going on the road each year in the GTA , The city is growing like crazy and along with it thousands of slow moving heavy equipment on our decerped roads . Factor in our socialist mayor/s whom have all reduced the speed limit to where e-bikes and scooters go faster than the flow of traffic and the icing on the cake ! More bike lanes on major arteries and in many cases being reduced to one lane,
None of these egg heads will listen in fear of offending their interest groups until it becomes so bad they have no choice ...Hang on we are almost there now from the looks of the daily traffic reports.

Not to mention its hard to make ring roads when there is a giant body of water south of the city.
While i agree the situation is bad it’s not as bad as 1km in 29 min which is 2km/hr. A leisurely walk is 4km/hr

I miss Rob. The only time the TO bureaucracy shrank. Down 1,300. Got loaded with Jack at a wedding once. Great guy. Crap economic policy of any socialist.
